We are starting a search for two jobs for a large global manufacturing company in the Midwest:

1. Network Manager for Global Networks
This position will be in charge of design and operations and oversee a small team of 5-7 people.
The client needs someone who can be hands on to care for the VOIP , CISCO, network needs globally and have a vision of where to take the technology.

2. Lead Network Engineer
Reports to the Network Manager above and work in this CISCO/VOIP environment, firmware, compression and specifically with the Enterprise team.
A CCNA would be a good thing but not required.

These jobs are full time and based in the Midwest.
Please let me know who you could recommend for either opportunity.

Welcome Everyone!

On Wednesday, August 13th, 2014, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. the Hillsdale Career
Resource Ministry Network Group will be meeting in the Sheen Center at St.
John the Baptist Parish at 69 Valley Street in Hillsdale, NJ.

At our August 13th meeting, we will have an exciting corporate panel of
guests to help us learn what happens...."BEHIND THE PORTAL." They come from
different industries to answer questions on the explosive job market,
interviewing, hiring tips and so much more. There has never been a regional
networking event like this! So many great people in one room! Come and enjoy
this great evening and share the stories.

Sandra Bleckman - Director of the Retail, Hospitality & Tourism Talent
Network based out of Fairleigh Dickinson University's International School
of Hospitality & Tourism Management. Sandra has over 17 years of Human
Resources experience with a heavy concentration in talent acquisition.
Positive is too lax a word for this Hospitality blockbuster.

Lisa Brady - Human Resources Manager at Instrumentation Laboratory in
Orangeburg, NY. She leads the HR function for overall business partnering,
operations, talent acquisition and support. Lisa brings 15 years of diverse
HR experience to IL as an HR professional, recruiter and consultant.
Fabulous only describes one half of Lisa, the other half is speed.

Steve Daubert - Vice President of Human Resources for the specialties
division of Total SA, the fourth largest publicly traded oil company in the
world. Steve brings 30 years of Human Resources expertise in some of the
largest marquee companies. Engaging, loyal and a fanatical Dallas fan.

Nancy Kenney - Finance Executive and Controller for Riverside Research, a
leading chartered technical advisor in the development and application of
full spectrum Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capabilities for
the Defense and Aerospace industries. Nancy brings many years of financial
acuity and expertise to her current role. Not only a compassionate
individual but a leader in life.

Robert Pizzuto - Manager of IT Advisory, Risk and Compliance for KPMG, Big 4
Public Accounting and Consulting Firm, who advises and consults on software
and IT related projects for Fortune 500 companies. Bob brings a blend of
high impact technical knowledge and upbeat attitude to the hiring table. He
is a consistent networker and takes pride in his work and family.

It will be an electrifying and uplifting evening with comments from
different companies and perspectives on how it goes.... " BEHIND THE
PORTAL."

We reserve the word GIVING for larger than life heroes such as Mother Teresa
or Mahatma Gandhi, but being a giver doesn't require extraordinary acts of
sacrifice. It just involves a focus on acting in the interest of others.

The group leaders are John F. Carvelli, Janelle Razzino and Gary Gabaccia.
John and Janelle are both parishioners at St. John's. Janelle is an
Executive Recruiter located in Westwood, New Jersey and Gary is a former
Recruiting Leader for IBM and a parishioner at Our Lady Mother of the
Church. This is a job search network group that is suitable for everyone in
transition. The group will discuss networking, landing the job on the first
interview, new ideas for resume campaigns, identifying target companies,
changing careers and a whole host of other topics. The group will meet on
the second Wednesday of every month in the Sheen Room of the Parish Center.

The Career Resource Ministry will present guest speakers on such topics as
boosting your confidence and energy, creating a positive daily attitude,
meeting others in a network group for the exchange of valuable insights,
helping others to help each other and successfully overcoming the speed
bumps that afflict everyone's job campaign.

Please feel free to forward this note to ANYONE that you think would benefit
from joining us. Or, better yet, just bring them with you! Everyone is
welcome, and each month we try to cover a range of topics suitable to anyone
in transition, including networking, resume preparation, interviewing and
variety of others. Our speakers come with a passion for their topics and a
genuine desire to help, so let's all help each other in the pursuit of that
life-changing opportunity. And remember, it's all about what YOU find
valuable, so please let us know the subject matter of most interest to YOU.

Networking will begin at 6:45 if you would like to get a jump start on
connecting with members that will be attending during our "speed dating."
We will also have a raffle, good food, and some other exciting surprises for
the event. Please bring copies of your resume(s) and business cards to
exchange with others.

Bring your great and positive attitude. Refreshments will be served.

ALL ARE WELCOME! BRING A FRIEND!

The Breakfast Club NJ Presents:  "A
Call to Action" by Frank Kovacs Saturday
August 9, 2014 at 8:00am ET
Please share with other groups you may be in.
The Presentation: "A Call to Action"
In 14 years of leading the Tristate areas top networking group we have
always strived to stay ahead of the curve and give job seekers and those
wanting to manage their careers the best information possible
Phase 1 – Post 9/11 – we set out to help job seekers and found out that
the job search process was broken – so we analyzed each step and came up with
approaches and techniques that provided an "edge" at each step over other job
seekers. Whether it was advice on how to make the case with your resume, how to
help the employer see you as a cultural fit, or how to network your way in – we
were there with the best advice
Phase 2 – The advent of Social Media – first we began with embracing
Yahoo Groups to manage TBCNJ and our communications but then Social Media
through LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and others became instrumental to
our job search approach and how to leverage these tools both individual and as
a networking group became another critical element
Phase 3 – Enter the New Way Business is done. It began quietly cloud and
bring your own device but Cloud, Mobile have now been joined by Big Data,
Social, Robotics, Gamification and Cybersecurity and all under the umbrella of
Digital Business, Digital Frameworks and Digital Transformation. The rate and
volume of change is reaching new levels daily. Now the way business is being done
is changing so radically there are new jobs, different titles, and new position
responsibilities plus many "legacy firms" those in business pre-2000 are
competing against many who were created post-2005 and from the get go on Cloud
with new Digital Business Models. Many of the legacy firms are downsizing and
people are lost trying to navigate among new job titles, more hands on responsibilities,
flattened organizations and last but not least where is your network with the
legacy firms or the new hot post 2005 firms? Everyone has a lot of work to do
the quicker they get underway the stronger they will be as they find their
niche in the new way business is done.
Frank will take you through these changes and give you a clear path on
how to position yourself and your career successfully

About the speaker:
Frank Kovacs is the founder of The Breakfast Club NJ the top networking
group in the Tristate area which is closing in on its' 14th year and has over
4,000+ members and has helped over 6,000+ individuals land jobs. TBCNJ was
founded following the 9/11 Tragedy to help those that were displaced from their
jobs, however, the prolonged economic and financial problems that our economy
and businesses have endured necessitated keeping the group and its' mission
alive beyond what was ever envisioned. It is comprised of volunteers who "pay
forward" their assistance on techniques that help give a job seeker an "edge"
at each step of the job search process, and then we added many ways social
networking could be leveraged through yahoo groups, LinkedIn, Facebook,
twitter, google+ and others. Frank also added a weekly Radio show, You're
Career is Calling, that he has delivered at Rider University every Sunday going
on 4 years.
Frank's vocation is as a Technology Executive who has spent close to 30
years directing some of the largest global transformations for the marquee
names in the business – AT&T Bell Labs, Citigroup, AIG, JPMorgan Chase, Bowne,
Medco, GSi Commerce/EBay, McGraw Hill and Ernst & Young. Most recently
Frank built one of the largest and most successful Cloud Practices in the world
and sold then directing the largest migration ever to Cloud for Nasa's 1900+
websites Now Frank runs Digital Business, Frameworks, and Transformations for
the largest Business Process Outsourcer in the business which includes the
disrupting technologies of Cloud, Mobile, Social, Big Data, Robotics,
Gamification, and Cybersecurity.
Given Frank's work in these two areas (Technology Major Transformation
Executive/Career Management Expert) and hear first-hand the presentation that he
has developed, "A CALL TO ACTION". The way business is done is changing
dramatically. What jobs there are, what responsibilities these jobs have, which
firms will be able to define and execute these new Digital Business Models
better than their competition is going to lead to the biggest change in the way
we do business and work. Many firms just aren't going to successful make the transition
Come and hear this message first hand so you can start preparing today to
position yourself effectively in what will be a much different environment The
change is already started and underway.
If you are in transition this message is critical to understand what you
can change quickly to get re-engaged
If you are currently working this message is needed so you can start
preparing today and make the most for yourself from the changes we all will be
facing.
Looking forward to seeing you – You Don't want to miss this critical
perspective of the future and its' impact on you and your career.

From: Gary Wright – Moderator of NewEnglandNetworking Group

Subject: Group Guidelines

Background of the group:

Additional Group Names:

NewEnglandNetworking@Yahoogroups.com - General High Technology Roles
NE-Software-Engineering-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-QA-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-Database-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-Support-Service-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-System-Admin-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-Build-Release-Engineer-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-Financial-Services-IT-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com
NE-IT-Managers-Jobs@Yahoogroups.com

This group covers what I call the Greater New England Area – States covered are ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, & the Tri-state area – NY, NJ & PA.

The intent of the group is 2 fold – Ist and foremost I started this group to help people locate new opportunities and act as a forum for the surrounding process. This means networking, job leads, job postings, contacts, articles on anything that may be useful to people in search mode, new company funding etc.

Secondly, as you know I own my own company and specialize in Recruiting & Search focused on the High Technology related areas and companies. I also use this group as an additional means of sourcing candidates for positions that I am trying to help clients fill. This means that any assignments that I am working on I post to the group, looking for candidates or referrals that may be interested in the position.

The group is moderated, meaning nothing gets posted with out me approving it. This allows me to monitor all postings to make sure they are on topic and also to eliminate any SPAM. I spend a considerable amount of time managing this group to try and make it useful to the members.

General Guidelines:

· No Attachments are allowed – Avoids New Virus's sneaking thru
· Stay on Topic – Job & networking related information
· No Politics
· No commercials or SPAM – A short company blip, as part of your signature is fine.
· No resume posting on the message board. It is ok to post an elevator speech and that you are looking for an opportunity as long as it does not exceed a paragraph or so.
· No bashing of members or anything else that does not show respect to individual members
· Please include a one or two word description at the beginning of the subject line of your email to identify the type of posting:

Examples:

Information
Article
Introduction
Assistance Needed
Contact Needed
Company Information
New Job
Etc.

I am not going to enforce any kind of rigid rules here as I want members to be able to post without a great deal of hassle. Use your common sense and it should be fine.

If you are not sure if something is suitable for posting send it to me for review at GaryWright@WrightAssociates.org

Job Posting Guidelines:

· Please limit postings to no more then 5 per day

· Full Time or Contracting positions in the following states are allowed:

ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, & PA

· Additionally, it is all right to state NE, New England, East Coast, North East or Any State in your job posting, if it includes the states above.

· Positions offering Relocation for any state can be posted. Must indicate in subject line that position offers Relocation.

· The Subject Line of the message must contain at a minimum the following:

Ø Posting Content – New Job, Reposted Job, Revised Job, Job Cancellation
Ø Job Title
Ø Job Location – City & State or NE, New England, North East, or Any State
Ø Relocation if position offers if outside of Greater NE

· If job allows for relocation, state this in the subject line of message

· Reposts will be limited to once per week

· If you have a need to post several jobs on a given day, I suggest that you create a summary list with a link to each specific job to the web site where the job description is located.

I have tried to make these guidelines as simple as possible to follow and I alone with choose to enforce the rules. I do not want it to be difficult to post and I would rather have good leads or information posted as opposed to being the network police.

Lastly, always feel free to give me your comments or suggestions regarding the group.

Thank you for your membership, as it is appreciated.

Message Delivery

Individual emails. Send individual email messages. You receive one email for every message posted.

Daily digest. You receive one email per 25 messages or one email per day if less than 25 messages have been posted. The digest version includes a quick summary of each message in the email that you can review - If you click on a particular message link then the whole message will appear. Send many emails in one message.

Special notices. Only send me important update emails from the group moderator.

No email. Don't send me email, I'll read the messages at the Web site.

Select option best for you then save changes.
