•Corporate IT Infrastructure projects, GPM USA
Primary Tasks and responsibilities

60 Minutes, this Sunday will have a segment on the CT DOL Bridgeport
office's "Platform to Employment" program. Tom Madison of our Sales and
Marketing networking group was a participant and is enjoying his new role at
Yale as a result. Watch for Tom. Ed Thomas who was also in our Sales and
Marketing group is also involved in the program. Other states are looking at
this novel initiative as a possible model for the unemployed who have
exhausted their benefits.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst who will develop, translate,
communicate and deliver report requests for a diverse user community. Under
the direction of the Manager, Reporting and Analysis, this position will
focus on evaluating behavioral, trend and survey analysis. This position
requires the understanding of requirements, is expected to troubleshoot
problems and support business reporting needs. This is a junior to midlevel
position with a huge potential for growth into a DBA role.
Responsibilities
. Gather specifications for data and report requirements, formatting
data and analysis clearly to facilitate interpretation by multiple users.
Develop and maintain reports to track marketing and business performance
across departments
. Create, maintain, test, validate and deliver reports using a
variety of software tools.
. Assist with the analysis and interpretation of annual and spot
surveys and polls.
. Assist with analysis of website visitor behavior, social network
metrics, and campaigns.
. Monitor internal databases for consistency of information and
accuracy. Assist with qualifications for data warehousing to expedite
reporting and maintain data integrity. Ability to setup, execute and
monitor SQL jobs and backups
. Design, develop and implement DB changes in development and
production environments. Includes the ability to design and implement
database changes in both an operational and data warehouse environment.
Understands relational concepts in these environments.
. Database and rudimentary SQL tuning including the ability to
analyze SQL plan and adjust code as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
. Education in a Business or Technical related major
. 1-3 years experience working with SQL*Server 2005 or SQL*Server
2008 database, including creating and/or modifying SQL queries
. Good understanding and knowledge of DTS and reporting services
. Strong knowledge Microsoft Excel/ Microsoft Access
. Survey/polling analysis
. Familiarity with Web/campaign analysis, including behavioral
analysis
. Familiarity with social media/networking trends a plus
. Knowledge of LINUX and MySQL is a definite plus.
. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with dedication to
detail and accuracy
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
. Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, constantly evolving

. Strong project management skills and able to meet or exceed
project deadlines
. Works as an independent contributor and team player
