General Responsibilities
Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Responsible for contributing to the completion of specific programs, projects and commitments established for the work unit while operating under the general direction of a manager. Generally requires specific knowledge of profession differentiated by skills, education, experience, level of complexity and degree of autonomy. Typically requires 2-4 years related experience with a BS; 0-2 years experience with an MS.
Qualifications You Must Have
Candidate will be working with the Financial and Reporting base for the entire corporation for both development and testing of new software for upgrades and reinstallations. The components we install, configure, maintain and report on consist of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Assets, General Ledger, Projects, Order Management, IExpense and Microsoft Reporting Services. This will include handling issues of basic to moderate levels of complexity and exercising judgment and discretion in carrying out duties.
There will also be some interactions with the corporate financial staff to provide design and architecture changes for applications while participating in software development as part of a team approach. This will require working with technical and/or functional team members to ensure work assignments being developed are in compliance with the IT organizations standard practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or Computer Information Systems. Typically requires 4 to 6 years related experience with a BS.
Contributing and providing technical and analytical assistance in:
-Enhance Financial Systems for corporate support
-Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within pre-determined time constraints
-Design, code, test and debug software programs according to customer requirement specifications
-Develop and perform software system testing and validation procedures, programming and test plan documentation
Strong analytical ability to perform full range of system design and programming responsibilities utilizing state of the art concepts, techniques and languages. This position requires critical thinking, logic, and attention to detail. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and business processes.
Assist in gathering and evaluating end user requirements. Writing and compiling routine code, documenting, validating and researching reported problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to analyze and interpret business processes and write requirements and other varied business correspondence and present information effectively both written and verbally.
Core Skills & Technical Experience:
-Must have basic understanding of software development methodologies
-Languages: Oracle 9i, UNIX Shell Script, Oracle ERP Applications, including joins, views, and triggers with SQL and PLSQL programming
-Interface tools: Forms 6i, Reports 6i, Toad, SQL*Loader, Oracle E-Business Suite
-Relational databases, Microsoft technologies (e.g. ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server, etc.)
-Oracle E-Business Financial suite
Other Desirable Skills:
-Self-starter, self motivated, pleasantly aggressive and possesses the ability to work independently
-Good organizational skills with attention to detail and multi tasking skills
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment

This candidate must be comfortable with handling issues of various complexity levels, i.e. basic, moderate and highly complex issues related to financial processing. Candidate must also be able to exercise judgment and commitment to carrying out duties within a committed timeframe.
Candidate will analyze customer requests for enhancements and or changes to determine priority levels of requests. There will be occasions where this candidate will need to perform the up-front analysis to suggest new methods of automating/streamlining systems for the business.

Responsible for enhancing Financial Reporting Systems for corporate support contributing to the completion of specific programs, projects and commitments established for the work unit while operating under the general direction of a manager. This will include designing new processes, new modification based on changes in the corporate business processes and devising new procedures.
Works on problems of moderate scope/complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Regularly exercises judgment to determine appropriate action.
Requires specific knowledge of profession differentiated by skills, education, experience, level of complexity and degree of autonomy.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- SQL, PL/SQL
- Erwin Data Warehouse Modeling and ModelMart libraries
- Data Warehouse Design and Implementation
- Discoverer 10g
- ERwin to Informatica Metadata migration
Other Desirable Skills:
- SQL queries, hints and explain plans; PL/SQL procedures and packages; Oracle schema, database objects, database links, partitioning and indexing.
- Microsoft.Net (Analysis/Reporting Services)
- MS Office programming experience using MS Excel (emphasis on Pivot Tables), Word (ideally including MS Office automation), Server 2003, Visual Basic .NET.
- Good interpersonal skills relating to the customer
