Successful client seeking Java Developer with 10+ years of experience for 3+
month contract! Will lead development teams in the development and
implementation of internal applications.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

* 10 years JAVA/OOA/OOD.
* 6+ years J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC).
* 6+years development experience.
* 4+ years Web Experience (Velocity, JavaScript, HTML, XML).
* 4+ years Struts (prefer Struts 2).
* Some Web 2.0 (preferably AJAX, DOJO, Yui, JSF Frameworks, richFaces,
Tomahawk).
* 3-tier Client Server Architecture.
* Mobile App Development.
* Spring Framework.
* JBoss or similar (Weblogic).
* 4+ years Oracle DB, UNIX, Windows.
* Shell Scripting.
* Familiarity with ClearCase, ClearQuest, or Jira.
* Eclipse Java5.
* Ability to read and understand UML Design Diagrams.

Overview
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a junior / entry level UX Designer to contribute to their in-house creative team designing and maintaining an elevated and stylish intranet experience.

This is a 6 month W-2 contract with possible extensions, located in Stamford, CT

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Communication Design or Graphic Design
• Minimum 1-3 years of Web / Internet / Digital design in a corporate environment; internship experience will be considered
• Superb information and graphic design skills and Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Must have a solid understanding of designing intuitive interfaces
• UI/UX tools, such as OmniGraffle or Sketch are a big plus.
• Storyboarding and wireframing skills preferred
• Provide samples of web design

The next Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meeting is this Tuesday,
January 12th.

Our guest speaker Chris Russell will be speaking on Job search stories &
Cool tools. Chris will share his recent job search stories and show you
cool free tools to aid your job hunt.

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.

Our philosophy is to build reciprocal relationships where business
professionals can exchange ideas, job leads, and build networking skills.

We usually have a guest speaker discuss a topic of interest for business
professionals.

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month
from 5:30 - 8 pm. Attendance to NFP is free.

Networking from 5:30-6:00pm with a speaker presentation from 6:00pm to 7:30.
Networking until 8 pm.

Location: The Knights of Columbus building at Saint Rose in Newtown CT,
located at 46 Church Hill Road; behind Saint Rose church to the far left.

Please go in the entrance for Saint Rose church and drive in back of the
church to the far left.

The building has 3 garage doors on the first floor with the meeting room
upstairs.
