Lead Engineer/Technician – Sussex Co, NJ – Permanent Role
 
 
Lunova Group is currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer/Technician for a rapidly growing company in Sussex County, NJ with operations in IT hardware resale.  The successful candidate will lead the equipment testing and diagnostic operations of the organization. 
 
Compensation will vary depending on experience.  The salary could be in the range of 75 to 110K.  Full benefits and discretionary bonus will be provided as well.

Overview of Responsibilities:
 
·         Lead a group of 5-10 technicians/engineers
·         Establish equipment testing procedures
·         Monitor procedures for quality improvement and efficiency
·         Interface with internal and external customers
·         Provide hands on guidance in the day to day testing of equipment
 
Requirements:
 
·         At least five years prior experience managing a team of technicians and/or engineers
·         Strong configuration knowledge ranging over multiple platforms in routing and switching
·         Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, technically in and layman's terms
·         Extensive knowledge of  Cisco's product lines required
·         Knowledge of Motorola, HP, Lucent, Alcatel, and other networking equipment strongly preferred 
·         Experience working with the day to day testing of equipment
·         Excellent problem solving skills

This contracted Global IT Project Manager role will be responsible for leading the deployment of the electronic workflow management and digital asset management system (COCOON) in ASPAC, Canada, and EMEA for all Global Business Units. This system is leveraged by the creative design, packaging engineering, and design project management teams as part of the Global Strategic Design Office (GSDO). The Global IT PM will need to proactively work with the appropriate vendors, deployment IT Leads in each of the regions, and with the J&J technical organizations to ensure that objectives are met, on-time, on-budget and on-quality, per SDLC 3.0 guidelines. Regular communication and status meetings with all levels of the organization will be necessary. This role will also act as the Regional IT Lead for the Neutrogena Cosmetics implementation in NYC, along with leading and coordinating data migration efforts from other applications into COCOON. Applications
identified to date include Starfish (EMEA) and TruePak (ASPAC).

The role requires knowledge of the Design Lifecycle Management functions, with clear understanding of inputs and outputs to other functional areas (i.e. R&D, QA, Supply Chain, and Sourcing). The PM will need to understand the Consumer Package Goods industry landscape and requirements to be able to provide subject matter and change management expertise working directly with business partners, vendors, and other J&J technical organizations. The GBUs supported include Consumer Healthcare, OTC, Beauty, and Baby. Each GBU is responsible worldwide for one or more global franchises (e.g. Sanpro, Reach, oral care, wound care, smoking cessation). meeting fee of $10 to help us cover the cost of the hotel conference room for
the meeting.

members that are in transition and welcome those that have landed
Meeting Format:
7:30 to 8:00 - Open Networking
8:00 to 8:15 - Welcome and housekeeping
8:15 to 9:30 – Presentation by the guest speaker
9:30 to 11:00 - Elevator Pitch - 30 Seconds about yourself, who you are, what
you are looking for, target companies (3-4), how we can help you, how you can
help others.
11:00 until  you choose to leave  -  Open Networking, follow up with people you
are interested in meeting following their elevator pitch, exchange business
cards, peruse the library, arrange follow up meetings, etc.
 1 - Make sure you come with the 30 second elevator pitch - honed - including
your targeted companies, your value proposition, etc.
2 - If you are not already a member of our linked in and Facebook groups please
join
3 - Once linked to our groups - link to each other - a strong network is a vital
component to a successful job search
4 - If you are a member and new to transition send a brief message to the group
(from the email you joined the breakfast club from)

Position         : QA Analyst

Location         : Parsippany, NJ(In personal interview)

Duration        : 6+ month's contract

  • Sr QA Analyst with at least 4-5 years of experience in testing.
  • Should be proficient with QA testing process and Quality center/test director.
  • Automation testing experience is not really required but a plus.
  • Manual testing with very good SQL scripting skills is the main criteria.
