Job Description:

Commercial Lending Branch Manager

UTFCU.... Is seeking candidates for Commercial Lending Branch Manager to develop and manage new and existing commercial loan accounts that meet established lending requirements and which provide maximum profitability to the credit union with a minimum amount of risk.

Prime Responsibilities: 

Participate in community affairs to increase the credit unions visibility and to enhance business opportunities.

Contacts potential and existing customers to develop business and to enhance and develop new business relationships.

Interviews loan applicants and collects and analyzes data in order to determine the general credit worthiness of the prospect and the merits of the request for financing based on risk considerations, conformity to United Teletech's loan policy and guidelines.

Work with loan applicants, brokers, realtors, vendors, underwriter and business loan consultant to coordinate work flow and ensure a smooth loan process from application to closing.

Undertake special projects relating to departmental needs as assigned by supervisor.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of lending experience including all aspects of the lending process including understanding risk, loan structure, negotiation, and underwriting
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a proven track record of developing new business.

  • improve scalability performance of existing storage and analytics solutions

Requirements:
  • experience with data mining (decision tree, logistic regression, cluster analysis, etc.) that includes accessing and analyzing large volumes of data

  • Performance tuning, partitioning
  • Experience designing and building large financial services data warehouses with very strong data analysis skills
  • Have good knowledge of ER/Dimensional modeling and have extensive experience in developing logical and physical data models in complex, multi-application environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data management, data warehousing, data transformation, metadata and reference data management and business intelligence tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with advanced SQL query techniques using TOAD, SQL Navigator. Basic UNIX would be a Plus.

  • Maintain documentation of data models, including relationships, constraints and metadata.
  • Publish and conduct model reviews with business and technical project teams.
  • Review database design changes with the team to determine the impact to the physical database and other systems.
  • Coordinate with development/implementation team to improve model formats and approaches with regard to implementation issues.
  • Participate in performance tuning activities including partitioning strategies, indexing strategies, and SQL optimization
