Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for
the design, implementation, engineering, support and administration of the
company's wired and wireless network infrastructure / 24x7 mission-critical
environment supporting a large e-commerce website, plant operations,
delivery logistics and general business services. The individual will be
part of on-call support rotation to provide 24 x 7 remote & onsite support;
work off-hours/weekends; Remote site visits in the tri-state area as
required.

This fulltime employee position is located in Long Island City, NY which is
2 subway stops from Grand Central Station

Skills and Qualifications:

* BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* 10+ years of network engineering experience, with a minimum of five
(5) years working in a senior network engineering role
* CCNP - Routing and Switching Certification is required
* Expert in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers,
switches, wireless devices & access points, firewalls and controllers
* Experience with routing/switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, STP,
LACP etc.), IP addressing and protocols (TCP/UDP)

* CCIE Routing and Switching (Written or Lab) - Preferred
* PCI compliance experiences a plus
* Knowledge of industry standards and frame work (ITIL, ISO, COBIT) a
plus
* Must be willing to work off-hours / weekends and visit sites within
tri-state area as needed.
