As a Sr. Database Specialist with emphasis on PostgreSQL, thecandidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance,monitoring, and high availability of the database environment.  The Sr. Database Specialist will also beexpected to continuously provide ideas on how we can improve efficiency andperformance of the environment.  Using acombination of Database skills and Linux expertise, this person will manage andimprove upon existing processes, as well as develop new processes in order tostreamline database operations.  Thisrole requires an on-call rotation for after-hours support, as well as technicalleadership during problem resolution.  Asa technical leader, the ideal candidate will provide technical expertise onprojects such as RDBMS upgrades, DR testing, standardization, ETL/ELT, andLinux usage optimization.  Keyresponsibilities include:

 
·      RDBMS installation and configuration, focusingon PostgreSQL

·      MaintainingProduction, Development, and Test databases

·      Ensuring RDBMS environment is available,reliable, and secure in accordance with service level agreements

·      Database capacity management, including Linuxdisk and memory usage

·      Database migration, backup and disaster recovery

·      Shell scripting (BASH) in support of environment

·      ETL/ELT

·      Ensuringrecoverability of the databases in accordance with our set guidelines

·      Repairproblems in the databases quickly and correctly

·      Work closelywith other support groups during DBMS's software installation and upgrades

·      Work closelywith other support groups during Business Application installation and upgrades

Required TechnicalSkills:

 ·      Experience supporting production RDBMSenvironments; PostgreSQL is strongly preferred

·      Solid knowledge of SQL, and ability to transferthis knowledge to other team members

·      Experience as a UNIX/LINUX systems administrator(along with shell scripting); Redhat/CentOS or AIX is strongly preferred

·      Experience supporting a mission-criticaldatabase environment with 24x7 on-call support

Qualifications:
- Experience managing projects related to chip card implementation and deployment for both debit and credit cards
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's/Advanced Degree preferred
- 8 - 10 years of project management experience
- Manages project teams consisting of staff assigned from the various departments throughout the bank and/or vendors providing service or support for the bank, affected by the assigned project.
- Recognizes project issues and concerns requiring resolution in a timely and professional manner and addresses them with management and appropriate staff members
- Prepares documentation defining policies to be established with management's approval, providing supporting documentation and specifications as needed
- Schedules and conduct status meetings with involved staff and management, to ensure timely completion of project tasks and addressing and resolving problems that could prevent timely completion of the project
- Prepares, provides and communicates progress reports on project status for staff and management review
- Represents Regional Banking Group as a team member on project teams lead by other departments and divisions.
- Provides support to project team by attending project meetings, responding to assigned tasks when due and providing Regional Banking Group management with regular updates on the project's progress.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements detailed project plans, including new products, conversion/integration, merger projects, and other projects as assigned. Manages the planning, documenting, testing, and executing, along with tasks, budgets, timelines, and project team members to successfully complete projects on and within budget. Develops documentation to support the project planning and implementation process.
- Consults, develops, implements, and manages the project life cycle of detailed project plans using standard project plans and develops and delegates project tasks including test plan and acceptance testing.
- May direct the due diligence information gathering, analysis and reporting for assigned projects.
- Supports the design and implementation of the operational and technical aspects of the project plans and develops and supports programming requests to meet project goals.
- Advises on milestones as needed for reporting to appropriate management levels and communicates budget and status milestones as defined for the project.
- Manages some members of the project team, which consists of members reporting to functional managers within the Bank, third party vendors, and consultants. Provides leadership, motivation and establishes a teamwork environment for the project team, and advises, influences, and coaches team members in the development and achievement of project goals. Facilitates and leads team meetings.
- For the design and implementation of the Security operations including security assessments, security control, security validation, security monitoring, security incident response, security investigations, security forensics and root-cause-analysis for IHC IT systems, IHC applications, IHC data, and IHC staff the SecOps PM will:
- Develop and adapt the project documentation
- Participate in organization and preparation of project status meetings and steering committees.
- Prepare meeting minutes/notes and distribute to identified stakeholders
- Produce project reports; request, collect, analyze, verify consistency and completeness and integrate weekly status reports from project sub-workstreams
- Update project master plan and follow-up on the changes to project management plan
- Follow-up with project managers to ensure timeline is being respected and deliverables are to be met on schedule
- Keep updated action, risk and issue logs, contact list, project distribution list and other registers

Growing Healthcare Services firm is looking for a DevOps Engineer with a passion for cloud computing, infrastructure as code and monitoring and maintaining highly available web applications.

The DevOps Engineer can be based in either Cherry Hill, NJ or Charleston SC. This position will work closely with the software development team in to ensure the developers have the deployment tools needed to ship code with ease. He/she will build custom engineering tools and integrate existing tools.

In addition to helping to maintain developer satisfaction, the DevOps Engineer will help monitor/secure AWS infrastructure in an effort to ensure 24/7 availability. This person will write/test/maintain the Chef library cookbooks used to create cloud clusters.

The DevOps Engineer will perform the following key responsibilities:

* Automate and provision everything with Chef, Jenkins

* Assist management of AWS Cloud services (EC2, ELB, S3)

* Assist management of Cloud Foundry PaaS

* Perform systems and application monitoring and load testing

Overview

Our client is seeking a Release Business Analyst who will work with various
Technical and Business teams and will be primarily responsible for the
analysis and documentation of requirements during the Discovery phase,
provide support to the Architecture and Software Engineering Teams during
the Design/Development phases and continued support to the QA Team and
project lifecycle through Testing, Production Deployment, and Maintenance.

This is a fulltime permanent position in Madison, CT

Skills and Qualifications

* BA/BS degree
* 5+ years of experience in software development environment
* 5+ years of related experience
* Experience working with and analyzing large datasets
* Broad working knowledge of enterprise systems technology including
relational databases, applications development platforms and client/server
architecture
* Experience defining Graphical User Interface rules and behavior
* Experience working within the health care industry is a plus
* Working knowledge of MySql and Java preferred
* Basic understanding and knowledge of XML is a plus
* Strong competency with standard MS Office applications such as Word,

Description:
Our client is seeking Cisco Network Engineer whose tasks will include managing infrastructure-related projects and daily operations including hardware and software deployment and upgrades; Coordinating management of multiple open issues and interfacing with vendors, other internal functional areas and/or end users at all levels and managing assigned projects to deliver services in accordance with established objectives. The position involves night and weekend work for network activity.

This is a 12-month W-2 contract assignment in Stamford, CT.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 4-5 years of experience with Cisco Call Manager/ Unified Communications
* Experience with ISDN and SIP protocols
* Experience in working with the carriers
* Knowledge of the Cisco platforms with emphasis on ISR routers, Catalyst switches (3600, 3800, 4500, 6500 etc.)
* Experience in troubleshooting voice and data networks
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel globally
