Position Responsibilities - Summary

As member of the Funds Group Applications team, this individual will be
responsible for requirements, systems analysis, testing, and project
management supporting the Funds Group.

The role requires a well-rounded and experienced technologist, who can work
well with stakeholders in Hedge Funds, US Domestic Fund and Global Fund
teams to build consensus on vision and then follow-through on delivery.

The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to assimilate technical
concepts quickly, manage multiple competing priorities and communicate and
coordinate effectively across all levels of the firm.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business partners to understand business
workflows in detail and prioritize support & enhancement needs

* Work with engineers, analysts, consultants and vendors to
collaboratively solve problems and deliver solutions

* Assimilate to new technical and functional challenges to command
control of the outcome and project teams as needed

* Translate business needs into detailed business and technical
requirements and assist in the development of specifications and design

* Provide oversight for the various phases of testing and user
acceptance

* Ensure adherence to established standards and processes while
proactively highlighting opportunities for improvement

* Work across teams - such as with middleware, database, and
architecture teams to coordinate design and implementation activities

* Advocate for the end user at all times and proactively manage
risk, impact and user experience at all times

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Proven planning and analysis skills following a standardized
methodology such as Agile. Analytical experience on new systems builds as
well as on enhancements to existing systems.

* Track-record of working with business stakeholders, engineers,
analysts, and infrastructure teams to complete and deliver projects

* Experience in core project managements skills including plan
development, risk and budget management, team building and leadership

* 10+ years of proven experience delivering successful projects

* Proven ability to support multiple competing priorities
simultaneously

* Demonstrated experience in Financial services, including FS data,
instrument representations and reporting

* Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal
supervision

* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

* Experience with large-scale complex technical projects a plus

* Fund Company experience & knowledge is a strong plus

Keys to this Position:

1. We are seeking a systems analyst with 10 plus years of experience.

2. Must have a broad understanding of how mutual funds and hedge funds
operate (for example fund of funds, fees, NAV, transfer agency activity,
etc.) - Investment Management experience required.

3. Communication skills. This is an internal client facing role; strong
communication and relationship skills are a must.

Summary:

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst - Healthcare Utilization who will
perform analysis, synthesis and modeling of payer claims data to support
system contracting, pay-for-performance units, physician and hospital
bench-marking, utilization management, financial planning and forecasting
processes.

This is a fulltime employee position with flexible location within CT
(Shelton, Derby, Norwalk or Danbury)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business,
Finance, or other related field; Master's degree preferred.

. 2-5 years of Data Analysis experience specific to healthcare
cost/utilization analysis.

. Experience with MS Excel functions that include working with large
data sets, creating standardized reported utilizing vLookups and advanced
functions/formulas; creating, using an interpreting pivot tables, filtering

Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence (BI) Developer who will be
responsible for architecting BI designs and models to support the business'
analytical and reporting needs in a global environment; work closely with
the EDW Data Architecture team and other organizational areas to define,
design, develop and oversee implementation of a robust semantic layer for
use with existing BI reporting tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, SSRS, SSAS).

This is a fulltime employee position located in Milford, CT.

Skills and Qualifications::
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Math required.
MS or equivalent work experience preferred.
* 3+ years of Micro Strategy Schema Modeling coupled with 3+ years in
Data Warehousing and BI.
* Proficient in the Micro Strategy reporting suite.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Data Warehouse methodologies.
* Extensive SQL experience with relational databases such as Teradata
and MS SQL Server.
* Familiarity with Microsoft BI Tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Design, implement and enhance the data warehousing infrastructure including data architecture and standards
 Work with business users to identify needs and appropriate solutions    
 Maintain system and user documentation  
 Evaluate and recommend data warehousing tools  
 Maintain development and user test environments as needed     
 Provide support for SQL SERVER production databases, including definition, load, access, backup, replication,  performance tuning and capacity management
 Assist in resolving data base related production problems
 Work with Production DBA to implement new or expanded databases
