Energy client is looking for a Vice President of Procurement to manage
$3 billion in annual spend. You will lead, direct, and manage the
development and execution of the company wide procurement function
(procurement, sourcing, contract management, and vendor relationship
management). You need 15+ years of relevant work experience and at
least 7 years of prior procurement, contract negotiation, end-to-end
Supply Chain, and management experience. You must have specific
procurement experience in the power/utility industry (nuclear,
electricity, gas, solar, or related areas). This client offers an
excellent compensation, benefits & relocation package.
Responsibilities
Lead, direct, & manage the development & execution of the company wide
procurement function (procurement, sourcing, contract management, and
vendor relationship management)
Manage $3 billion annual spend and the acquisition of a broad range of
services and materials needed by the organization to meet its
commitments to customers and achieve established business goals and
initiatives
Negotiate and manage complex engineering and construction agreements
Develop and deliver aggressive cost reduction goals through unit price,
rebates, payment and requisition, and vendor process improvements
Develop, implement, and leverage a repeatable, disciplined approach to
implement best practice agreements organization- wide focused on total
cost effectiveness, enhanced service levels, improved coordination, and
risk compliance
Requirements
Experience as a Director or VP of Procurement/ Supply Chain in the
power/utility industry (nuclear, electricity, gas, solar, or similar
areas)
Experience managing around 3+ billion dollars in annual spend
15+ years of relevant work experience and at least 7 years of prior
procurement, contract negotiation, end-to-end Supply Chain, and
management experience
You need a BS degree, with and MS or MBA considered a plus
Prior experience in developing and implementing strategic sourcing
strategy in a complex environment
Previous experience in the power, utility, construction, engineering,
or chemical industries preferred
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement the complete
Procurement process, system, and structure

Business Transformation Leaders apply a combination of Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management, and Change Leadership skills to address significant business problems and opportunities. As a rule of thumb, if the solution to a business problem or opportunity is already known or developed, the specialized knowledge and skills of a Business Transformation Leader are probably not required and line management can pursue implementation with a basic Plan-Do-Check- Act process. When the solutions are obvious and/or can be readily developed, a routine Kaizen Continuous Improvement approach can be applied using the skills of employees across the organization trained in basic Lean and/or Six Sigma skills.

When the solutions to a business problem are not obvious, Lean, Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma or a combination thereof need to be rigorously applied by Business Transformation Leaders who are certified in these respective bodies of knowledge. Determining what skills are required to address a business issue can be decided using the logic flow of the Roadmap below. However, large projects typically require a combination of Lean and Six Sigma tools to be applied while most analyses require the use of sophisticated statistical Six Sigma and Data Mining tools.

On Tuesday evening, February 9th, there will be a combined dinner meeting for current members, alumni, and guests of Association of Women in Computing (AWC), ¢Â IT-Networking, MIS Network Associates (MNA), Monmouth Networking, The Breakfast Club NJ (TBCNJ), ETP Network, and Careers in Transition (CIT) at the Holiday Inn, Totowa, NJ.

The dinner meeting will include a presentation by Rod Col ¢Ã³n on his ETP Network.
Networking is having resources at your disposal ¢â' '´people that you can call on to connect you to companies, individuals or information that you need to turn a ¢â' '¼cold call ¢â' '½ into a ¢â' '¼warm call. ¢â' '½Â How do you develop such resources whether in transition or not? ¢Â On the 9th, Rod Col ¢Ã³n, who has a real passion for networking, will tell you how.

Take the Garden State Parkway Exit 114 Middletown, Red Hill Road
Driving south from the north: turn left at the light on Red Hill Road, go a few hundred yards to the second light.
Driving north from the south: turn right at the light on Red Hill Road, go a few hundred feet to the first light
To go straight at this light, you must turn right, go a couple hundred feet and turn left. Now you're back on Red Hill Road.

Go a couple of miles to the end. Turn right on King's Highway. Go a few hundred yards to a group of 4 storefronts on the right, close to the road. Christ Church immediately follows on the right. * Create Functional Specifications for all of our current and future products. Responsibilities
You will have overall responsibility for the resolution of all issues
and completion of all tasks associated with Support Services,

business goals.
You will develop, document, implement, monitor, and continually improve
Customer Service support methods, procedures, and processes to achieve
the desired level of customer satisfaction while attaining Delphi gross
margin objectives.
You will develop and maintain accurate and timely reports for the
Delphi management team, including status reports, resource management,
issues status, performance v. revenue and gross margin targets, and
customer satisfaction reports.
You will oversee the primary activities of the customer support staff
to ensure completion of tasks and attainment of department goals.
You will participate in department budgeting and forecasting
(personnel, capital, operational expenses).
You will review reports, forecasts, and analyses to ensure proper
staffing levels within the customer support function.
You will manage personnel activities of customer support staff,
including hiring, training, rewarding, motivation, discipline,
terminations, performance reviews, and pay discussions. You will also
select and assign work and tasks to the appropriate staff members.
Serving as the escalation point for issues beyond the authority of the
