We are searching for an outstanding website programmer to be responsible for continuing improvement of our corporate and product websites. Our website programmer will work closely with the management team and outside designers to develop specifications and make recommendations for evolving the sites and using new and emerging technologies including ASP.NET MVC, LINQ to SQL, and Microsoft Azure. Programming and database administration are the significant elements of this position and experience with .NET Web Applications and MS SQL Database structures are a must. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. DUTIES: · Organizationally, will handle project/task independently while also working as a team member, excelling in time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Participate in review meetings concerning projects and programs, identifying system deficiencies and recommending solutions. · Work on projects including web-based applications, website enhancements, and database-backed website. · Desire to stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies and willing to alert colleagues to emerging applications in order to have the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities. · Website Programming: o Experience working in several programming languages, ASP.NET, C#, and PHP are musts, experience in these others a plus; XML, SQL, and JavaScript. o Need to have a strong analytical skills and sense of logic in order to design, code, and test technical solutions. Must code web pages following industry standards, while understanding technical and functional design requirements in order to implement those solutions. o Experience with web analytics (Google, Yahoo, etc.) is required o WordPress experience is a plus · Database programming and integration: o Work with a variety of database systems including, MS SQL Server, and Microsoft Access among others. o Ability to program against web services APIs for integration into our NetSuite "Cloud Based" ERP/CRM system. · NetSuite: o Experience with NetSuite Web-Based Business Software Suite a significant plus. o Work with a web-based software applications and CRM systems a must. · Server Management: o Familiarity with cloud-based hosting such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon EC2 is a significant plus o Be the lead internal contact for our Microsoft IIS web server environment (Windows Server 2008). Interacting with servers using FTP and Remote Desktop. o Servers are housed in a VM environment with redundancy built in to allow for quick scale up o Experience managing a web based code repository/version control system a must.
REQUIREMENTS: · Above all else intelligence, the ability to execute, and a professional attitude towards development are required. · Minimum 3-5 years experience Web programming using ASP.NET and a good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. · BS in computer science or a related field, web development related certifications or significant equivalent experience · Self-starter with strong self-management skills who prioritizes multiple tasks effectively. Assumes additional responsibility without being asked. Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules understanding the importance of dependable on time delivery of projects. Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members. · Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards and understands client server and internet systems architectures.
