Our client company in King of Prussia, PA is embarking on a strategic project to
build a next generation Business Intelligence Platform that will serve internal
and external data consumers on a global scale. A key component of this project
is a new Reporting and Analytics Tool and a new underlying data warehouse data
model that will support it. The new BI tool architecture will be constructed on
best-of-breed tools and be designed with the following in mind: self-service
reporting and analysis, flexibility, scalability, data security and offshore
development/supportability.

This new contract to hire position will be in the e-Commerce Technology Group
and will play a key role in the deployment of the new BI architecture. This
position is ideal for a candidate who has a good mix of traditional business
analysis skills combined with detailed requirements gathering expertise in a
data-warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

* Help the business community articulate, document, and maintain reporting/data
requirements.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving business functions and the
mapping between detailed requirements supporting those processes.
* Provide leadership around the requirements gathering process and best

specifically to a DW/BI environment.
* Support the analysis and validation of data for reasonableness and accuracy

CLIENT: Growing mid-sized global search firm is looking to add a VP or SVP
(title dependent on experience) to its team to help lead its pre-MBA
recruiting team. The firm was established in 1997 and has since worked with

The VP/SVP would be expected to hit the ground running as a key manager of
the pre-MBA recruiting team, including executing searches and managing

client service as industry experts.
VP/SVP candidates will be expected to be senior contributors and lead by

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Management - managing a national team of recruiters and being
accountable for all aspects of the team's search execution
- Client Service - running all phases of client mandates including initial
candidate outreach and tracking, screening, managing interview process,
reference checking, closing the offer and onboarding the candidate.
- Industry Expertise - continually developing a deep knowledge base and
network within the Private Equity, VC and Hedge Fund candidate and client
universe
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 10-15 years of total work experience, preferably with at least some
exposure to the finance world at a high performance company i.e. worked for
a top-tier investment bank or strategy consulting firm
- Experience working within the human capital arena is preferred but not
required (ideally individual would have managed a team of recruiters)
- Extensive experience managing individuals and teams required; MUST be a
great manager and motivator of people
- Bachelor's degree from top university required
- A superior work ethic demonstrated through excellence in client service
(which may require evening and weekend accessibility to clients, and will
require occasional overnight travel)
- Self-starter with a track record of high achievement - both professionally
and academically - with a deep understanding of the alternative asset
universe

POSITION: CEO at New Haven Based School Turnaround Organization
LOCATION: New Haven, CT
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: With funding from the Shumway Capital Foundation, this
organization will create meaningful, high quality educational opportunities
within one of the lowest performing school districts in the United States .
Beginning with a single elementary school, identified in partnership with the
City of New Haven in the 2011-12 academic year, this organization will oversee
the turnaround and management of a failing school, with the goal of replicating
its school turnaround model on a local, state and/or national level.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This is an exciting opportunity for a CMO (Change Management Organization)
leader to partner with the New Haven Public School (NHPS) system to design, lead
and execute a successful turnaround model.
Reporting to a Board, the CEO will have considerable flexibility and control
over schoolsâ staffing, scheduling, budget, curriculum, compensation, technology
and facility design and discipline code. In addition, this CEO will have the
current academic year to engage in planning and the potential to pursue relevant
training in preparation for the Fall 2011 roll-out.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Developing and executing the overall short and long term strategy to
reach student achievement goals, with a focus on creating schools that
promote high levels of academic achievement for all students
* Driving organizational culture change and instilling a relentless focus
on student achievement, operational efficiency and excellence
* Managing and coaching CMO and school-based staff
* Serving as the primary local public spokesperson for the organization
with students, teachers, parents, local policy makers, and other key
stakeholders
* Leading the relationship with the New Haven Public Schools Office of
Portfolio and Performance Management, ensuring that the organization is
meeting and exceeding state and local standards
* Partnering with other high performing schools and education
organizations to share and promote best practices
* Directing the implementation of effective research-based curriculum,
instruction and assessment practices that support all students (including
those with special needs and English language learners)
* Developing a world class program to recruit, retain and motivate
exceptional teachers and central office staff
* Overseeing the development of relevant, innovative, data-driven
performance management and professional development for the organization
* Supporting instructional excellence by ensuring that teachers receive
appropriate coaching to implement successful classroom management and
teaching strategies
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven track record of driving significant organizational change in a
mission-driven environment
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders,
including staff, students, parents, funders, press and others
* Proven ability to drive significant academic gains at a school or school
network dedicated to under-served students; instructional leadership and
classroom experience in urban schools is strongly preferred
* Demonstrated knowledge of best and innovative practices in curriculum,
instruction, assessment, performance management and learning technology
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to effectively
manage multiple, complex work streams
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop productive
working relationships with diverse audiences
* Significant expertise in performance management, including setting
goals, developing and/or implementing assessment systems and driving needed
adjustments
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources to reach an
organization's desired goals
* 4+ years of relevant experience
* Graduate degree in education or related field preferred
