Presently, we are seeking a skilled Applications Development Project Manager for a 6-month, potentially Right-To-Hire opportunity with a customer we support in the South Jersey region.

Candidates will be expected to manage and guide team players with our customer's Application Development team. Specific requirements will be as follows:
·         Supervise, coach and mentor 8-10 Developers/Technical Leads in an environment using PowerBuilder, WebServices, SOAP, Java/J2EE, EJB and Oracle/Sybase
·         Responsible for planning, designing, developing, deploying and maintaining enterprise applications using middleware applications servers (Oracle WebLogic Clusters), middleware messaging (JMS) and service oriented architecture (Oracle SOA Suite & Fusion Platforms)
·         Interface directly with business units and IT teams to analyze and resolve technical issues
·         Plan, forecast and track projects, resources and deliverables
·         Serve as a primary contact and consultant to senior management and other IT Teams for all long-term or short-term development projects and production issues to ensure management that business objectives are achieved
·         Actively recommend changes to increase efficiency, minimize operating expense or improve accuracy and timeliness of application systems
·         Assist in developing forecasts and tracking both capital and expense budgets across projects
·         Develop AFE's (Approval for Expenditures) for all capital projects

Day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

·         Participate in the preparation of schedules, cost benefit analysis and work plans. Be responsible for tracking assigned projects and systems during all phases of the software development life cycle and overseeing the analysis, design and implementation of solutions for business needs in cooperation with various levels of functional and technical personnel
·         Coordinate team tasks and priorities, assign workload, and mentor for team player development, while providing direction in problem resolution. Develop the necessary team to support multiple customers or business areas. This will include the necessary technical disciplines and skill-sets, career development plans and team player morale
·         Direct involvement in most personnel decisions and the resolution of issues
·         Responsible for implementing cross-functional and system implementations that promote the best solution for the organization
·         Directly responsible for Team Leads, Technical Leads, professional staff (including external consultants) and potential offshore development involved in a diversified set of activities within multiple departments or service areas. Coordinate and manage external strategic vendors
·         Act as key representative of overall functional area of Business Services development, internally and externally, to ensure all objectives are achieved.
·         Maintain awareness of existing system and current development efforts

Candidates should have the following skills to be considered for this opportunity:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, 5 years of experience in systems analysis and application program development (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience). Candidates should also possess at least 3 years of significant Project Management experience
* Hands-on technical expertise in the following technologies:
* 2+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
* 2+ years of experience in EJB development
* 1+ years of experience in WebServices/SOA development
* 2+ years of experience in XML development
* 3+ years of experience with PowerBuilder
* Sybase/Oracle with extensive use of SQL and stored procedures
* Broad technical knowledge with emphasis on full life cycle application development, middleware technology and n-tier architecture utilizing Java/J2EE, EJB, and SML technologies. Extensive knowledge of production support, project management methodology and tools
* Requires excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, interpersonal, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and with clients. Ability to interact with and influence clients, customers, team members, management and external groups
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong general acumen, problem solving and planning skills
* Previous management experience in planning, designing, deploying and supporting Java/J2EE applications
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of middleware technology and n-tier architecture, as well as a variety of software tools and languages
* Strong background in a variety of operating systems, server technologies, software tools, and programming languages

Candidates possessing a Mortgage or Financial Services background are highly preferred.

Business Analyst for Speakers Bureau Web Application
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include supporting the speaker program event planning and management web enabled platform from a business perspective
Main responsibilities
·         Gain and maintain expert level knowledge of PW applications, configuration capabilities and business processes
·         Assist with configuring software application for client(s) including uploading client information and defining business rules, inputting, and maintaining data base

SKILLS
Minimum of 3 years of medical education experience. Previous experience with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Must be a service oriented, self-starter.
