Our client is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture (EA) who

Instrumentation and Controls Engineer; Process Controls Engineer
Near Wallingford/ Cheshire CT

As the site expert, you will provide Process Control and Instrumentation
Engineering support for the day to day operations in a batch chemical
manufacturing plant. This will include supporting new installation and
capital projects as well as providing maintenance support of existing
installations. There are currently Process Engineers on site who provide
this support but due expansion, this position is open to bring in a
specialist who enjoys solving problems related to instrumentation and
process control systems.

* Provide support for troubleshooting and calibration of process
control system and instrumentation
* Perform system maintenance, back-ups and software updates.
* Provides training for plant personnel as required.
* Provide technical advice regarding instrumentation selection and
control strategies to the process and project engineers on-site.
* Develop new process recipes and manage changes to existing process
recipes (while following all Management of Change and Process Safety
Management procedures.)
* Supports the plant safety and process safety activities (Incident
investigations, corrective actions, in the form of process interlocks, MOC,
PSM and etc)

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering (most likely a ChE or EE)
* 2 -10 years of experience with process controls and automation
supporting a process industry
* Experience with Programmable Allen-Bradley PLCs and Rockwell
Automation software (PlantPAx)
* Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS)
* Knowledge of instrumentation and control devices - pressure,
temperature, flow.
* Team orientated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Best with knowledge of S88 compliant batch recipes systems.
(ABSI/ISA-88)
* MUST BE authorized to work for any employer in the USA without

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced IT ServiceDesk Coordinator who will monitor, document and manage statistics in RemedyForce incident tracking system to evaluate trending of hardware and software issues, SLA metering; issue response times and solution solving skills of global helpdesk and support teams; enforce IT Security and Operational SOPs to ensure compliance with company and departmental policies as well as FDA and SEC regulations. The consultant will also provide supplementary IT tasks, oversee new IT installations, work with staff on customized internal projects and contacts independent vendors, if needed.

This 3-month W-2 contract assignment is located in Cheshire, CT.

* Bachelor in Computer Science
