The Technical Lead will be responsible for performing system support
and maintenance of the web applications. The role requires significant
experience developing web applications using the .Net framework and SQL
Server. Good communications skills and organizational skills are
required. This position requires working with internal business users
and offshore/onshore developers.
The candidate should be well aware of different system development
methodologies. They will be expected to participate in development of
business requirements, review and respond to business requirements,
develop and review technical designs, conduct code review, and provide
technical guidance to developers.
The candidate will be involved in providing input and recommendations on
software design decisions. Candidate will work with business analysts to
clarify requirements and functional specifications as needed and will be
responsible for developing and maintaining technical design documents
with other team members.
Requirements:
⢠Minimum 8+ years of overall software development experience with
demonstrated experience developing complex, database driven, and web
based software applications.
⢠5+ years experience designing .Net solutions for web based
applications
⢠5+ years database development experience (MS SQL Server 2005/2008)
⢠Excellent knowledge of .Net patterns and practices for web
application development
⢠Experience with integrated unit testing tools/concepts such as
nUnit .
⢠Experience developing web based applications in C#.Net
⢠Experience deploying web systems to QA, Staging, and Production
environment
⢠Experience using MS-SQL developing web centric, database driven
applications
⢠Ability to fully grasp complex system architectures, including
multiple inter-related databases and intricate business rule logic
⢠Able to manage time productively and handle multiple projects
⢠Able to communicate ideas to various levels of management
⢠Excellent knowledge of System Development Life Cycle
⢠Able to resolve technical issues in production
⢠BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Science, or Engineering
Proficiency with the Following:
⢠Visual Studio 2003, 2005 and 2008
⢠ASP.Net / C#.NET
⢠.Net Framework 2.0, 3.5
⢠Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and 2008
⢠Design experience with AJAX applications
⢠Web Services
⢠Experience with Agile development methodologies; short development
