Responsibilities
The ERP Solutions Advisor (ERPSA) will consult with business, academic and technical clients throughout the university community to review their technology plans, needs, and wish lists. These needs may be ERP related or may involve other types of applications. The ERPSA will then research potential solutions, which could include building new solutions, modifying existing solutions, out sourcing, software as a service or creating process change without technology. Possible solutions will be provided to the clients.
The ERPSA will document the technical and business requirements for solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency of the University's business. The ERPSA is to create and maintain a strategic partnership between the University's business needs and the technology delivery.
The ERPSA is responsible for articulating the business requirements and related business rules based on the needs of the functional business unit. The Analyst works closely with the subject matter experts to create and revise the following analysis artifacts and deliverables:

Skills
The ERPSA must possess excellent communications, listening and consulting skills. They should have technical experience in with ERP systems, reporting, databases and other software solutions, such as workflow or document management. They should be knowledgeable in application development and project implementation and management.
Examples of skills desired:
 Application and Integration design methodologies, standards and best practices (SOA, OOAD, AOP)
 Business requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD), Business Process Modeling (BPM) and Business Process Decomposition processes

The Enterprise Architecture group is looking for a Data Architect/ Modeler/
Strategist covering Enterprise Investment Data - Client, Instrument, &
Portfolio Product Offerings.

The successful candidate will work with a team of investment technologists
to define and deliver the Data Strategy, group wide. They will also play a
key role in influencing the strategic and tactical direction of the data
architecture team, governance, implementation of data strategy, data design,
modeling and security. On a day-to-day basis, they will provide analysis
and recommendations on data functions, procedures and policies to mission
critical systems.

The candidate should have a proven track record in developing and delivering
Data Strategies surrounding Investment Management Data including Client,

Pennsylvania Bio is proud to host the inaugural 2010 Life Sciences Summit, an innovative event that will link scientists, entrepreneurs and funding sources with companies and research institutions that have undeveloped, available assets. In addition, the Summit will bring together key legislators, business leaders and industry representatives to discuss the opportunities that the evolving life sciences landscape presents and create recommendations to advocate for policies that grow and sustain the innovation infrastructure, ultimately leading to job creation.

Attend the BioSpace 2010 Career Fair!
Job seekers can spend a day with HR representatives and Hiring Managers from top biotech, pharma, medical device and diagnostics companies in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Who should attend?
Candidates with a 4-year degree in the life sciences and a minimum of 2-years of industry related experience are invited to attend. Just register by clicking the button below.
(Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a four-year college degree. PhD and Postdoc candidates welcome.)

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see a list of exhibiting companies. Take the time to research what each company is recruiting for to see if you are a match. If you can't make it on event day, you can still pre-register online to allow exhibiting companies to view your resume and contact you outside of the career fair.
