contract to
possible hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have Market Data,
Actuarial
and Financial Services experience.
 
The client is not considering

The consultant should be able

Job Description:

.Join our dynamic and expanding group to engineer and deliver solutions
for
financial applications used by business groups and across the
enterprise. 

.Apply and further develop your business analysis, finance and project
management skills as a key team member in the Enterprise Services &
Financial Systems group responsible for implementation and support of
market
data and assumption management tools.
.Key projects anticipated for 2015 and
2016 include expansion of an enterprise Market Data Repository, and
design and
roll-out of the assumption management tools and processes to support
Federal
Reporting requirements. 
.Longer term, the Analyst will have the
opportunity to support other significant initiatives for an Enterprise
Actuarial
Transformation project, Federal Regulation and the company's status as a
non-Bank Systemically Important Financial Institution (SIFI).
.The
Enterprise Services & Financial Systems (ESFS) department is part of the
Chief Financial Officer's organization within Enterprise Financial
Management. 
.The Financial Application Support team works directly
with business and corporate departments to implement technology
solutions for
their respective financial needs. 
 
Responsibilities:

.Working as a liaison between business partners and system developers
with
responsibility for documenting detailed business requirements and system
specifications
.Documenting as-is and to-be processes
.Developing test
scripts and conducting both unit and integration tests
.Assisting with user
testing and documentation
.Setting up and updating metadata configurations
for market and assumption data warehouse
.Assist in preparation of user
training and communications
.Providing end-user support including issue
resolution and remediation
.Updating and monitoring project tasks and plans
with the project manager
 
Required Skills:
.The ideal candidate
would have strong written and oral communication skills, good
understanding of
financial concepts, well-developed analytic reasoning and curiosity, and
some
project experience in a team-based environment
.College degree in
Information Systems, Accounting or Finance is preferable---other majors
are
acceptable
.2-5 years' experience working as a business analyst, financial
analyst or project team member in
finance/accounting/investment/actuarial fields

.Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills
.A
conscientious; detail-oriented nature
.Strong communication and
interpersonal skills
.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Position Summary:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to
join a strong, collaborative team in a role focusing on analysis with

scalability, quality and application integration with the downstream

Responsibilities:

* Work with pricing business team to define, analyze and document
requirements.

* Document functional specifications and work directly with
development and QA to ensure delivery.

* Provide input into system design to help the programming teams
define effort and implementation schedules for application development work.

* Ensure quality of product by enforcing high standards in testing
and building controls to measure the overall accuracy and timeliness of data
delivery.

* Develop a strong partnership with the delivery team to ensure on
time, scalable and high quality business solutions.

* Provide team leadership on assigned projects that may include
both full time and consulting staff in a matrix organization.

* Act as an escalation point person for support issues that require
detailed analysis and management

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Minimum 5 years' experience as a systems analyst in the financial
services industry

* Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL and relational database
technology

* Demonstrated experience in business and systems analysis

* Experience in Data Management a plus

* Experience in working with data providers such as IDC and Reuters
a plus

* Ability to work effectively in a multi-location team environment
