Manager Demand Planning & Inventory Control for chemicalcompany in northern NJ.  Reports to the Vice President.  Staff of twodirect reports.  Company has achieved or exceeded bonus target levels for the past five years and provides additional profit sharing programs.
 Responsible for:·         Maintaincorporate material requirements planning systems and processes for the company.·         Directlymanage inventory planning activities at production sites and outsidewarehouses.·         Managecycle count processes.·         Work withproduction personnel and schedulers regarding inventory issues.·         Manageordering for outside tolling, packaging operations, and certain raw materialsas required.·         Managevendor managed inventory process·         Approveoutside warehouse payments.·         Internaltraining of MRP functionality Requirements:
-  Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years warehousing experience in demand planning/inventory management
- Experience in the chemical or related industries.
·        Supervisory experiencestrongly preferred.·        Adept with MS Office suite.
- APICs certification a plus.
