I am currently searching for  a Executive Level Candidate to be a Senior
Manager/Director level within IT but is a SME in  FX systems. The hiring
manager is more focused on solutions delivery within the FX product specialty
and less so on specific technologies, they utilize Apama and Spectrum
software.  SME who will head up the FX team (3-5 people).  
Technology platform is not as important as knowledge of FX.  
Existing Technology Will be responsible for Global FX Systems from Order/Trade
Execution to Back Office. My client is aglobal
securities and investment banking firm, headquartered in midtown New York City,
and provides clients with capital markets and financial advisory services. Target
Salary $150-175K plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

TOPIC

Many times candidates feel like they don't have anything to say in a job interview, or are overwhelmed by looking at a shopping list of questions they might be asked. It can be difficult to understand how experiences that seem insignificant to them can really be crucial to an employer's hiring decision, and then how to concisely structure answers to those questions.

Job interviews are simply about an employer getting to know a candidate beyond what they have read on a resume. I developed the TODAY acronym as a way for candidates to focus their preparation, and remember those experiences that will help them be seen as the ideal candidate for the job. When they walk into an interview armed with topics to discuss, they are naturally more confident and relaxed, which makes the employer in turn get a
better overall impression.

This course also covers the finer points of an interview such as establishing rapport, avoiding the Walk of Silence from the receptionist desk to the interview, negotiating the offer,
and preparing for the 5 questions they will ALWAYS be asked.

MELANIE SZLUCHA: In her business, Red Inc , Melanie has coached numerous job seekers to become more confident and prepared during the interview process as well as written resumes that clearly convey a candidate's benefits to the company.

Melanie has over 15 years of experience as a hiring manager, and 5+ years as a job search coach. She has grown her business primarily through networking and word of mouth, and teaches clients to use those same skills to ramp up their search.

She has an undergraduate degree in Business and an MBA from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.

Qualifications
* 10+ yrs in IT svcs, operational executive experience and sales/sales management experience.
* Entrepreneurial or small/medium IT services company experience ($5M+ revenue) .
* Large IT services company experience is a plus.
* Extensive experience with IT staffing
* Possesses the desire and ability to assume control of a well-established company and expand its business.
* Possesses team building experience, with a collaborative, supportive approach to managing staff. Able to build strong working relationships with the STS team.
* Exhibits flexibility with regard to job duties. Maintains a can-do attitude, and is willing to do what needs to be done in a smaller company.
* IT project experience, from bid through successful delivery on time and on budget, is desirable.
* Lives within commuting distance of STS's East Brunswick location.

Duties
* Supervise and enable the work of staff, including sales and recruiting teams, in their day-to-day activities.
* Oversee the work of billable technical resources in concert with account managers and recruiters.
* Work with sales team to open new accounts. Attract and retain top-flight sales people and recruiters.
* Work closely with financial, sales and administrative teams to produce work products such as specialized financial reports, administrative reports, and RFP responses.
* Enable and enhance new and existing customer relationships.
* Practice and encourage ethical business standards.
* Acquire and disseminate relevant IT and customer business knowledge
* Report to Chairman/Owner
