Job Description                   A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for a Market Data Vendor.  The person will be responsible
                                                  For proactively managing a specified group of vendors on behalf of Market Data Management ensuring that the Firm obtain
                                                  The most cost effective market data services to meet business requirements.
 
                                                   Responsibilities:
 
                                                    Manage commercial negotiations with relevant Market Data vendors and liaise with legal to ensure favourable commercial
                                                    Terms which meet  business requirements and yet mitigate business risk.
 
                                                      Ensuring that the firm leverage its global purchasing power with the vendors and undertaking proactive management of the
                                                      Global contracts on behalf of all relevant entities.
 
                                                       Working to simplify and streamline procedures for order management, cancellation, contract management and invoice payment.
 
                                                        Ensuring that all the terms of all global deals are communicated to the relevant entities who are entitled to participate in them and
                                                         Managing the compliance of the firm’s to any vendor terms and conditions.
 
                                                         Ensuring heat practice is put in place for negotiation for all market date purchases.
 
Skills Required                             Higher economic, business or finance education degree
 
                                                            Regional/global market data inventory management and cost allocation
 
                                                            Major market data vendor knowledge
 
                                                             Strong administration and market data product knowledge
 
                                                              Market data Investment Banking knowledge
 
                                                               Good understanding  of market data inventory systems,processes and procedures preferably
 
                                                                MDM
 
                                                                Finance and cost allocation processes
 
                                                                 MS office
 
                                                                 Team Player,work under own initiative, good communication skills both written and spoken
 
                                                                  MBA for Business or Finance or equivalent

Qualifications
* 10+ yrs in IT svcs, operational executive experience and sales/sales management experience.
* Entrepreneurial or small/medium IT services company experience ($5M+ revenue) .
* Large IT services company experience is a plus.
* Extensive experience with IT staffing
* Possesses the desire and ability to assume control of a well-established company and expand its business.

Duties
