Logistics Leader for a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals located in Yardley/Levittown area of suburban Philadelphia. The Leader is responsible for managing all aspects of packaging, shipment preparation, paperwork, and all other processes involved with safely shipping products to customers. The individual must be HAZMAT trained.

Relocation is available.
Responsibilities:
Management of packager, shipper, picker, receiver directly and their reports indirectly.
Safety
Training program management
Continuous improvement of shipping activities via policies/procedures and employee engagement.
Compliance with all OSHA and HAZMAT regulations
Qualifications:
High School diploma or college
Experience with packaging liquid chemicals from bulk to pails, drums and other containers.
HAZMAT trained
Ability to operate forklift
Preferred--chemistry courses from an accredited college or university, or multiple years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
