Annual Career Panel - With the new year brings new opportunities and
insights into industry trends, career options and potential changes. We
have put together a cross-breed of professionals ranging from Talent
Acquisition to Career Coaches and Change Management Experts. The panel
will be led by SIM's own Jessica Carroll, who possesses a wealth of hiring
and management experience during her tenured career. Jessica will be
asking some un-rehearsed challenging and thought provoking questions that
will be answered by our expert panel during the presentation. Be prepared
for some great audience Q&A as well!!

*Jessica Carroll*
Jessica Carroll brings visionary industry expertise for changing the IT
customer experience and driving digital transformation. Carroll is a Fellow
at the Institute for Digital Transformation and a recipient of the Computer
World Premier 100 IT Leader Award. Carroll brings her 20 years' experience
in technology leadership roles, including her most recent position as
Managing Director for Information Technologies for the United States Golf
Association.

*About our Panelists:*
*Ron Hadley - Talent Management and Acquisition Specialist*
Ron Hadley is Director of Employee Development at IEEE. In this role he
leads the Talent Management, Learning and Development and Employee
Relations functions on a global basis. Charged with the role of building
the talent agenda, Ron has implemented a variety of programs and tools
focused on increasing engagement and preparing the next generation of
talent for the many challenges facing business in today's changing world.
Prior to this role he was Head of Talent Management at Novartis
Development, with global responsibilities for development planning,
employee assessments, succession planning, mentoring and a variety of other
talent related initiatives.

*Rick Carney - Former CIO of Trac Intermodal*
Rick has over 20 years experience as a CIO and CTO. He is an experienced IT
and Business executive focused on using IT to enable innovation and
business growth. His experience includes retail, healthcare,
pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and managing a professional services
business. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Society for
Information Management (SIM) - New Jersey Chapter, where he was president
from 2002 to 2004.

*John Hadley - Career Coach*
John Hadley helps job seekers who are frustrated with their search. He
also works with professionals struggling to achieve the visibility that
leads to new opportunities at work.

After graduating from Stanford University, John worked as an actuary in the
insurance industry for 20 years, ultimately as Chief Actuary of his
company. He then opened a successful systems consulting practice, which
generated over $2.5 million in revenues. 13 years ago he started his
Career Search Counseling business, and has helped hundreds of clients land
the job and pay they deserve.

John is a sought-after writer and speaker, publishing a monthly Career Tips

Dean Hoffman has over 20 years of experience in the strategic staffing
business. He is currently responsible for running the full time strategic
staffing division for Carter McKenzie, a 30-year old firm based in Pine
Brook. Dean works with senior human resource executives and IT decision
makers, as well as job candidates, coaching them on how to be more
effective with their interviews and processes.
