Position Summary:

The Investment and Portfolio Technology group is staffing a Lead Software
Engineer position to fulfill a key role on the Fixed Income Investment
Decision Support (FIIDS) team. The FIIDS team is responsible for providing
front-office Information Services capabilities to the Fixed Income
Investment business. The team plays a critical role in our firm's success by
providing technical solutions which improve the efficiency, speed and
quality of the highly complex investment decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

* Lead delivery of high quality business solutions to Fixed Income
Investment desks.

* Interface and coordinate with the broad Information Technology
teams to ensure successful delivery

* Demonstrate strong project management and leadership skills with
ability to handle multiple activities in a dynamic fast paced environment

* Interact with Systems Analysts and Investment professionals at
all levels of the organization as needed, to proactively identify
opportunities for new/improved systems to improve the investment process

* Lead the implementation of business solutions in conjunction with
the technical development

Required Skills and Competencies:

Technical Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience developing Web Applications and Services
using JAVA, JAX-RS, Spring, JPA and other related technologies and/or

* Demonstrated experience developing Web Applications and Services
using Node.js, Express, and other related technologies

* Demonstrated experience developing Web Front Ends using
JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, CSS, and other related technologies

* Demonstrated expertise in relational database technologies with
strong SQL and Excel skills.

* Demonstrated experience with XML, JSON, shell scripting and
UNIX/Linux.

* Knowledge of common design patterns and their application.

* Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of modern
software development and DevOps methodologies.

* Experience with cloud services such as Amazon Web Services is a
strong plus.

Non-technical Qualifications

* Minimum of nine years of hands-on design and development
experience in commercial environments

* Degree in Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, or directly related
field.

* CFA or working towards CFA is a strong plus.

* Financial or Fixed Income background is a strong plus.

Position Summary:

The Equity Decision Support Technology team provides targeted solutions to
globally located investors across Asset Allocation, Commodities, Equity,
Fixed Income, Macro Analysis and Risk Management. Solutions developed are
constantly enhanced to support the ever-changing needs of the capital
markets by providing efficiencies across cross-asset class and diverse
investor workflows.

The Lead Systems Analyst will contribute end-to-end through systems
analysis, functional design, UX design, and hands on prototyping,
development, testing and final implementation of the solution. This role
will interface with portfolio managers, research analysts, portfolio
coordinators and business management in an iterative manner to understand
and design solutions. Ability to articulate and present systems capabilities
in business-outcome terms to investors and business management is a core
competency of this role. In delivering systems enhancements, the Lead
Systems Analyst also coordinates efforts of internal business partners,
software developers, database architects, and external software and data
vendors both on and offshore.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Systems Analyst will contribute to providing new and enhancing
existing solutions by collaborating with a broad range of investors and
other IT teams to implement time-sensitive solutions to address critical and
complex business workflows. These workflows include company research,
financial modeling, portfolio construction and scenarios encompassing but
not limited to:

* Information discovery

* Idea generation

* Company valuation and stock selection

* Analytics for cross-asset class derivatives

* Metrics related to Attribution, Market, Performance, Risk & FX
exposures

* Manipulation of large disparate data sets to arrive at optimal
solutions

* Sharing and collaboration

* Tagging & classification of securities into investment strategies

* Integration of proprietary models

* Management style reporting

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics,
Finance or related subject

* CFA charter or has completed one of the levels and on a path to
completing charter

* 7+ year's business analysis or systems analysis experience in
financial statement analysis, investment management or financial services
environment.

* Superior Excel and SQL query skills and experience with SQL,
PL/SQL including working with different version of the Oracle & SQL Server
relational databases.

* Excellent skills in UX designing and development of applications

* Detailed knowledge and experience of investors workflows in areas
of research/valuation, analysis and portfolio construction

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the
ability to build consensus and to partner with investors, business managers

* Demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

Keys to this Position:

1) Domain knowledge: Solid understanding of Equities. Fixed Income,
Derivative instruments and related front-office investment processes
knowledge is highly desired.
