Subject: OPEN JOB - ENTERPRISE ARCHITEC

Hello, one of our recruiters recently viewed a copy of your resume on MONSTER. Our firm, Intermedia Group, Inc. is a large permanent staffing firm is aiding our Direct Client, a major SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR with positions in NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY AND CHICAGO to fill the below vacancies.

TITLE: SENIOR ARCHITECT – FINANCIAL SERVICES VERTICAL

LOCATION: positions exist in NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY and CHICAGO

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 12

TYPE: Permanent Salaried Position (or contract to hire) working directly for this multi billion $$$ international Systems Integrator (big 4 type firm)

NOTE: the position will require a candidate to be open to road warrior type travel (Monday to Thursday with potential to work from home on Fridays). The manager said most of the work is in NYC and Chicago, so candidates in those locations may not be required to travel as much. However travel 'openness' is a requirement for all candidates.

REQUIREMENT:

Consultants to join an elite team within our client's Banking & Financial Services (BFS) technology consulting practice in North America.

The successful candidates will work closely with client IT executives to define technology strategy, define architecture and solutions to complex domain problems. They will collaborate with globally distributed teams. They will also help drive strategic alliances with key vendors, elaborate vertical solutions and help take them to market.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be ARCHITECT LEVEL – i.e. Define architecture, roadmaps, design/build/implement financial based applications, evaluation of technologies, products and enterprises, etc.

• 10-14 years total industry experience
• NY/NJ/Chicago area; open to travel (at most 75%)
• Deep Banking / Financial Services experience (at least last 5-7 years) – Cards & Payments, Asset Wealth Management, Investment Banking or Capital Markets
• Product integration experience highly desired (but not required) e.g. Temenos, Metavante, Eagle, Flexcube, Kabira, etc. Or design/build and implementation of custom banking/trading/brokerage related applications with either Java or Microsoft based technologies
• The manager even said he would consider a data-centric architect (i.e. Oracle or Sybase or SQL) as long as they had a strong financial services domain expertise.
• Big-5/startup background highly desired
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery/global teams
• Must be hands-on in some technology area – Java, Microsoft, Open source, Database or Mobile
• Past roles – architect, consultant, software engineer

The managers here desire a hybrid HANDS ON (Architect Level / Implementation Lead) candidate. They do not want pure 'high level' managers or pure 'coders'. They said that candidates filling these positions will be responsible for working ON the project team during ARCHITECTURE and implementation / customization and custom development of a variety of BANKING related applications. Should have an architectural level of knowledge on a variety of banking related applications.

*********INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY************

If you are interested and qualified for the above position, please respond with the following:
• Full MS WORD Resume (we don't take them off the job boards as per our firms candidate privacy policy)
