INFO: Web company will give fake reference!

Posted by: "Ron Katz" ronhrkatz@yahoo.com   ronhrkatz

One more sign of the end of civilization as we know it. A web company in Ohio will give false job and educational references for a fee. I know it's tough out there but I hope no one I know avails themselves of this service.
Only the best,
Ron

Fw: [WNO] Interop - follow up to last night's WNO meeting

Posted by: "Ralph DAndrea" rjdandrea@yahoo.com   rjdandrea

Thu Nov 19, 2009 7:07 pm (PST)

Hi everyone,

I was speaking with Christine Novell earlier this evening, while she was at the Interop at the Jacob Javits Center.  She called to tell me not to bother going to the Expo tomorrow 11/20 (which is suppose to be the last day) because al the vendor's packed up shop and left this evening.  There will still be seminars and talks to attend (I think these you have to pay for), but the Expo with all the vendors was over today.  I was disappointed to hear that because I was hoping to network with a whole lot of new vendors/companies that I haven't spoken to yet.
So for all those who were planning to attend the FREE Expo at the Interop tomorrow, you can save yourself a trip.  I hope everyone gets this message before they venture out on Friday.

Have a great weekend
