| Project Managers - (US-NY-Brooklyn) Compensation: $90K - $100K / Year Minimum Education: Bachelors Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: GWPSJA1 Technical Project Manager works with senior leadership and key customer accounts and partners, taking full responsibility for the development and ongoing enhancement of one or more of our handheld education software products. Responsibilities: Deliver design and development projects on time, on budget, with delighted customers and a happy team Create and track project plans Perform business analysis and write specifications Follow Wireless Generation process standards to meet project objectives Develop project estimates Manage scope throughout the project lifecycle Manage teams of up to 2-8 people including designers, architects, developers, QA Provide motivation and direction to the team Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to the team Manage multiple elements (software, kits, training materials, documentation, etc) that come together to launch a new product Manage customer, third-party partner and vendor relationships as necessary Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management Set project quality and performance standards Share knowledge and learning and contribute to the development of project management practice Requirements: Bachelor's degree 2+ years in role of project manager using a formal software development lifecycle Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from concept to delivery Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ individuals Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong team work and interpersonal skills Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated leadership capacity (teams of 5 or more in multi-disciplinary environments—e.g., technology, user experience, design) Excellent organization skills; creativity and objective-oriented focus Experience working in education is not required but would be a bonus Email resume in Word to TheBigGameHunter@ NO RELOCATION.
