Sr Manager, Document Management $150-180,000 + B in Jersey City , NJ

Responsibilities:  We are looking to hire a senior (group) manager to lead the Document Management cluster of the Systems organization, reporting into Division Head for that cluster.   This leader will help to shape the vision / strategy for this important firm wide initiative, promote the initiative across the various Lines of Business, establish a strong project governance model and work with the key areas throughout the bank to educate the organization on topics such as imaging, scanning, optical character recognition (OCR), workflow and content management repositories.   He or she will be responsible for validating the current technology framework and work to implement the various technology tools associated with that framework, helping to build standards and best practices for using that framework to develop document management business solutions for the firm. He or she will also be responsible for updating senior committees throughout the back
with the status of this initiative.  These committees include the Systems Executive Steering Committee (SESC), the Operations Oversight Committee (OOC), the Systems Operating Committee and others.
 
 
Specific skills required include:
 
• Strong group management and project governance skills. 
• Strong presentation skills (both oral and written) and a track record of preparing presentations and delivering them to senior audiences.  
• Experience with the following topics and related software:
                    o  Scanning and imaging
                    o  Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
                    o  Content Management
                    o  Workflow
                    o  Business Process Management (BPM)
 
The ideal candidate will have marketed and implemented a Document Management strategy within an organization along with the associated technology framework and governance structure to support that strategy. 
• Specific knowledge and hands on experience working with Business Process Management (BPM) tools such as Pega Systems' SmartBPM tool or IBM's Lombardi (Blueprint & Teamwork which is used here at BBH) products is a must.
• Experience with Oracle's Enterprise Content Management platform and Universal Content Manager (UCM) repository is also a big plus.
• Strong budgeting skills and experience managing large group and project budgets.
