Job Description                A Medical Care Corporation located in New York City is looking for a Business Analyst/Project Manager.

 

                                               Responsibilities:

 

                                                Develop a broad understanding across a variety of department areas.

 

                                                 Active contributor in scope and design sessions

 

                                                 Collects and documents requirements for solutions and collaborate with development on completing the technical design.

 

                                                  Documenting Use Cases

 

                                                   Translate business requirements and programming specifications in a format that can be easily understood by the development team.

 

                                                    Control scope of application functionality through participation in and evaluation of project tasks

 

                                                     Develop formulas to drive metrics an KPIs

 

                                                      Design and Document Training Documentation

 

                                                      Coordinating with an provide support for Quality Assurance teams regarding solution testing and validation

 

                                                       Participate in the planning, organizing and implementation of high-profile complex projects

 

                                                       Oversee/manage tech project development.

 

                                                         Serve as a project manager to ensure communication, accountability and work plan completion.

 

                                                         Analyze data exchange requirements between information systems, Manager Care Companies and outside agencies.

 

                                                          Recommend interface/integration approaches.  Promote standardization of interfaces to facilitate data accuracy and

                                                           Consistency.

 

Skills Required                             Five or more years of combined education and business experience with at least three years of experience with computer

                                                           Technology and application systems.

 

                                                            Three or more years experience in public health, health administration, business administration or information technology

                                                             Required.

 

                                                             Advanced analytical skills to resolve difficult problems

 

                                                              Experience with Document management software, issue Tracking software is a plus (Windows SharePoint services is preferred).

 

                                                              Three or more years of experience in Project Management experience in a PMO is a plus.

 

                                                               Experience managing systems and programs across all areas of the full Software Development Life Cycle Methodology (SDLC).

 

                                                                Experience using project planning tools (MS Project and Office Project server is preferred).

 

                                                                 Minimum two years as a business analyst documenting IT applications.

 

                                                                  Understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Governance and Master Data Management is essential.

 

                                                                   Experience with data collection from electronic medical records and data analysis required.

 

                                                                    Prior Healthcare Informatics and experience working in the development, analysis and implementation of information

                                                                    Systems in a health-care environment or analyzing public health data is preferred.

 

Salary Range                                           This is a temporary assignment which will pay up to $100 an hour Corp to Corp and less for W-2.
