Marketing Director - IT ERP for a top notch IT services and solutions company
 
Specific Responsibilities:
 
·         Business Marketing is a line function responsible for creating 30% of sales opportunity pipeline though demand generation and direct marketing efforts. 
·          Align the enterprise around successful marketing strategies to increase market share through alternate (multi) channel marketing, Insides sales, integrated account management, alliance partners, and customer information management.
·         Lead the development and allocation of marketing channel budgets, holistically measuring marketing ROI, and predicting future sales and outcomes based on current marketing spends.
·         Manage the growth of Company brand awareness, consistency of brand identity, and accurate understanding of the company's competitive position.  Integrate brand into sales collateral, internet, social media, digital communities, and corporate communications.
·         Align closely with the sales organization to grow the business on a global level.  Provide up-to-date competitive information for sales force to use.  Ensure that all marketing activities are aligned with brand strategy.
·         Monitor industry "best practices" and develop and implement operational and service enhancements as required by changing environments, technological advances and service and delivery strategies.
  
EXPERIENCE / Attributes REQUIRED:
 
·         The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive strategic marketing leadership experience in Offshore IT Services for the ERP horizontal which blends multi-faceted products, solutions and consultancy.  Prefer five years' experience as the marketing executive in a $1 billion, publicly-traded company. 
·         A proven track record transforming and integrating successful B2B, global marketing organizations of large scope and complexity through rapid international expansion drives.
·         Previous experience driving the development and implementation of go-to-market plans in established and newly-defined target markets through direct and indirect channels.
·         Highly proficient with horizontal marketing as well as with market segmentation, vertical industry marketing techniques, research and channel marketing.  Previous experience with customers and channels that is diverse in scope and ranges from small to large in size.
·         Strategic thinker with strong decision making skills, and business acumen with an orientation to detail, deadlines, process and project management.
·         Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and manage small team based out of India.
·         Experience in the development of comprehensive marketing campaigns, with coordination of channel specific marketing plans and budgets.  Capable of identifying opportunities for improvement.  A proven ability to strengthen and incorporate a multi-product, market-driven approach to customer needs and new market introductions.
·         Experience creating and implementing successful traditional and direct marketing strategies, branding techniques and new social media marketing activities and social networks.
·         Guide manufacturing vertical to new market opportunities by identifying new channels to established markets and honing positioning to connect to our current and prospective buyers.
·         Collaborative management style that encourages open-thinking.   Verifiable success in arbitrating between and educating individuals at all levels from diverse, geographically dispersed groups both inside and outside the organization.
·         Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills required. Keen ability to build good relationships across the organization.
·         In addition to the technical knowledge and skills and the strong leadership abilities required for the effective management of the marketing function, the individual must be:

Education:
 
·         Business/Marketing Undergraduate degree required and Masters of Business Administration degree desired.
