| chrisshoulet@recruiters.net <mailto:chrisshoulet@recruiters.net> *************** Associate Partner – FINANCE TRANSFORMATION Insurance Industry Location: Can be based out of any major US City REQUIREMENTS * 5+ years of current experience BOTH Delivering AND Selling FINANCE TRANSFORMATION services into the Insurance industry * 5+ years of current/recent experience in a billable project management / leadership role, delivering finance transformation services into CFO / Controller offices within the Insurance industry * 5+ years of current experience selling (business development) and closing $2M in new Finance Transformation business annually for each of the last 3+ years * Experience working for a Big 4, or Top Tier Finance Transformation Management Consulting firm. * Experience as a Finance Transformation "Trusted Advisor" into the Insurance industry * Finance Transformation services should include * Evaluating current finance processes, transaction processes, organizational operations, financial reporting (including cost attribution process and revenue attribution process, Accounting and reporting controls, Financial Systems, chart of account design, and establishing performance measurements and making recommendations * Strong understanding of controllership and accounting functions in Insurance Companies * Experience with Accounting Close Processes (STAT and GAAP) * Finance Transformation business analysis (quantitative & qualitative analysis), Operational Analysis and Business Case Development. * Ability to travel up to 4 days / week to customer sites RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will be responsible for both BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and BILLABLE DELIVERY of Finance Transformation services into CFO and Accounting offices within the Insurance Industry. S/he will have a strong insurance industry background as well as a solid Finance Transformation Subject Matter Expertise within the Insurance industry. S/he will be responsible for selling a minimum of $2M in new business annually (goals may change), and then leading the delivery of these finance transformation engagements. You will be billable 50% of the time and responsible for selling the other 50% of the time. Finance Transformation services will focus around operational and process improvements in accounting functions, controllership, and accounting close including STAT and GAAP. The AP will have a strong analytical background and be able to provide both quantitative and qualitative business , operational and process analysis and make recommendations for improvement, building strong business cases for the delivery of finance transformation services. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in the delivery of the engagements sold. COMPENSATION: $180K- $240K base salary + 40% bonus at target + exceptional benefits package.
