Software Controls Engineer

BELCAN is a global provider of GAS TURBINE & AEROSPACE engineering services.

Our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida office is in need of a Software DER.

Overview
Belcan is seeking a software DER to support the development and certification of DO-178B Level A software for a gas turbine electronic engine control application. Task will begin with assistance and oversight for the development of a software development process to be executed for the project.

DER credentials are required by the customer to facilitate successful software certification. Oversight to continue thru SOI 1, SOI 2, SOI 3, and SOI 4, for approximately three years as the program reaches certification.

Additional responsibilities will include leveraging the process and tools to other customers and other applications.

Qualifications
* DER Certification
* Familiarity with all aspects of software development phases and deliverables from planning through certification.
* Familiarity with common 3rd-party tools such as DOORS, Matlab/Simulink, Labview, etc.
* Ability to oversee development activities and deliverables to ensure quality and certification preparedness is built-in to the delivered product.

Our client is seeking a top-notch UX/UI Developer for a hands on position
that involves analyzing, designing and coding to help move their website
from using traditional Web UI methodologies to the latest best practices in
UI development. Candidates must have strong experience and awareness of new
web UI development best practices and front end frameworks, tools and
concepts including JQuery, LESS, Modernizer, Bootstrap, HTML 5 BoilerPlate
and so on. The individual will collaborate with business partners to
envision products and worked side-by-side with team members in design and
engineering to deliver them in highly scalable ways.

Skills and Qualifications

. BS Degree in CS, Fine Arts, Marketing

. 8-10 years of developing and delivering customer facing web or
mobile experiences

. Experience leading a technical team, and providing work plans,
coaching, mentoring, development, recognition and performance evaluation in
building and supporting high-profile, highly interactive, extremely fast

Transformation Subject Matter Expertise within the Insurance industry.

annually (goals may change), and then leading the delivery of these
finance transformation engagements. You will be billable 50% of the
time and responsible for selling the other 50% of the time. Finance
Transformation services will focus around operational and process
improvements in accounting functions, controllership, and accounting
close including STAT and GAAP. The AP will have a strong analytical
background and be able to provide both quantitative and qualitative
business , operational and process analysis and make recommendations for
improvement, building strong business cases for the delivery of finance
transformation services. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring a
high level of customer satisfaction in the delivery of the engagements

COMPENSATION:
