Description:
The PeopleSoft Application Developer position being recruited for includes responsibility for support, maintenance & development within the Enterprise PeopleSoft Financials & Supply Chain application. This role will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle with emphasis on design, development and testing. This is a technical role that requires strong PeopleSoft technical skills and an understanding of the PeopleSoft Application Architecture.
Responsibilities include :
* Support of the PeopleSoft Finance / Supply Chain application consisting of defect resolution, maintenance pack analysis & process monitoring.
* Development of technical design solutions to meet business requirements.
* Using PeopleSoft technical tools to create and/or modify programs, features, and functionality within the PeopleSoft Finance / Supply Chain product suite.
* Plan, initiate and conduct unit testing of applications and support system testing as required.
* Support the development, testing, debugging and documentation of PeopleSoft applications in accordance with standard development practices.
* Administer support to third-party products such as :
o        CA Autosys R11
o        Merkur Deliveryware
o        Highjump Mobile Inventory
* Work with program architects to resolve complex technical issues and/or system performance associated with the introduction of new technologies.
* Participate in technology/tools evaluations and software proof of concepts.
Requirements :
* 4+ years PeopleSoft Finance / Supply Chain technical knowledge.
* 2+ years PeopleSoft Finance / Supply Chain functional knowledge.
* Experience in PeopleSoft Financials / Supply Chain version 9.0 or above.
* Experience in People Tools version 8.49 or above.
* Experience using Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages/Classes, SQR, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, Messaging, XML technologies and Web Services.
* Experience with and support of at least (3) of the following modules:
o        General Ledger
o        Asset Management
o        Project Costing
o        Commitment Control

Job Description:
 
PeopleSoft Developer to support ongoing production maintenance & the implementation of expanded functionality of HR  & Benefits functions of PeopleSoft HRMS for Automated Personnel Sys Retirees Project. Under the direction of the Development Lead, the PeopleSoft Developer has the primary responsibility of ensuring the quality of the software architecture, as well as any associated custom development to meet the functional & technical requirements. Work closely with the Project Manager, Tech Lead, BAs, Test Lead & key business partners to design, develop, unit test & implement product initiatives to support production. This person will work in various teams, but will need to have the ability to work independently & prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
 
 
 
Qualifications:
 
• 4+ years PeopleSoft in v. 8.8 and v.9.0 development experience with HR, Benefits Administration, Manager Self Service and/or Workflow.
 
• 4+ years experience with PeopleSoft development tools version 8.48+
 
• 4+ years PeopleSoft development and integration experience with upgrades and patches
 
• 4+ years experience developing PeopleSoft interfaces into legacy and 3rd party systems. 3+ full lifecycle PeopleSoft HR and/or Ben Admin implementation experience. Good knowledge in relation to Benefits Administration Module.  
 
• Good knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Database model.
 
• Strong UNIX and Shell Scripting.
 
• Strong knowledge of STAT tool.
 
• Experience working on an enterprise wide project a must.
 
• Excellent understanding of a systems development lifecycle methodology.
 
• Good Communications skills Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
