My client, Enthone is currently seeking a Project & Process Engineer. This
position as Project & Process Engineer will be responsible for developing
and managing various small and large scale capital projects and deploying
key strategic facility and process upgrade projects to meet customer needs,
transition to clean-room manufacturing and analytical facilities, and
improve product quality capability. The right person will be experienced –
"hands-on" with development facility projects, involving: process
equipment (pumps, vessels, etc.), piping, instrumentation, automation,
civil works, development of scope of work, specifications, bidder
identification and selection, as well as daily construction supervision,
cost estimation and cost control.

*Responsibilities:*

· Receive, verify, refine and in some cases develop front end
deliverables (Flow Diagrams, Heat and Mass Balances, P&ID, Equipment,
System and Instrument Data Sheets, Layouts) and use these to generate
estimates, schedules, bid packages, project scope and Requests for Capital
Expenditure.
· Identify and collaborate with Enthone Engineering and 3rd parties
to develop full scope equipment and labor costs for Mechanical, Civil, and
Structural, Instrument, Automation, Electrical, Remediation, EHS projects
and system upgrades.
· Coordinate the contributing activities of Enthone Engineering,
3rd Party contractors, consultants, engineers, local/state officials and
agencies on capital projects.
· Identify all applicable State, Federal, Good Practice Consensus
codes and ensure designs are compliant.
· Work with purchasing and engineering to identify best cost vs.
value added suppliers for overall project value and lowest cost of
ownership.
· Demonstrate effective project communication to stakeholders and
high quality periodic reporting on project cost, schedule and technical
risk areas. Coordinate during project development with other design
contributors through periodic review to ensure designs, proposals and
selected vendors are adherent with design intent and will integrate well
into the facility.
· When necessary, independently develop full scope designs for
facility, maintenance, process and automation projects.

*Job Requirements *

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required – Chemical Engineering or
Mechanical Engineering preferred. In addition, candidates must have a
minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Project Management Professional
and/or Connecticut Professional Engineer (PE) Certifications are desirable.
The successful candidates will have the following:

· Ability to interface with ERP systems, utilize Microsoft Project
or equivalent and generate project cost reports.
· Ability to coordinate daily contractor work with production,
maintenance and EHS to ensure minimal business interruption and safe work
practice adherence (hot work, energized line work, crane work, barricading,
automation upgrades).
· Experience in the interpretation and development of P&ID's,
Isometric, Layout, Electrical, Instrument Loop and System Architecture
Diagrams.

years of supervisory experience preferred.

Customer/Call Center service and/or Distribution Center experience a plus.

A general knowledge of the functions of the area supervised is required,
(such as call center technologies and their potential application or
distribution and fulfillment, etc).

Experience in analyzing service levels to determine where department
resources would be best allocated to provide participants with the highest
level of service given the resources available is required.
