New York, NY. Note: This role requires someone with 6 months - 2 years cold/warm calling experience who ultimately is looking to have a career as a full fledged sales person and/or relationship / account manager .   Our client is a well-known information services provider and expert network platform, supporting decision-makers in professional services firms and corporations across every industry. Openings are currently available on sales teams selling services into Financial Services, Hedge Funds, Life Sciences/Pharma, Law Firms/Legal Depts and other verticals.  The Business Development Associate will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts of his or her team and sourcing, establishing and building relationships with corporate executives in the U.S. over the phone, by e-mail, and in person. The Associate will be responsible for researching and identifying new client opportunities, presenting the companys platform to prospects and clients to increase awareness of the brand, using CRM to track and map client accounts, and working to drive adoption and usage of the companys services.  Key Responsibilities: · Support his/her sales teams prospecting efforts, including creating marketing materials, microsites, drafting communications/outreach, etc.; · 'map' client organizations to identify potential new buyers/users of the companys services and promoters within client companies; · prospect new users through cold and warm calling (inside sales); · engage key constituents at clients in order to articulate the companys brand and tailor our value proposition to those clients; · execute on account growth objectives in consultation with sales team; and · push out new product, service and pricing initiatives to clients and collect customer feedback on those initiatives.  Required Skills: · A Bachelors degree is required, in addition to 1-2 years of inside sales, cold and/or warm calling experience; · Keen attention to detail and motivated to deliver high-quality work product · Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines · Demonstrated proficiency with the MS Office product suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel · Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with key decision-makers in client firms; · Ability to work well independently and be self-motivated as well as work on a team and across functional areas of an organization; · A passion for persuasion, especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issues. · Superior verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate the companys value proposition and explain client-facing software system · A demonstrated ability to read and understand people· Creative and entrepreneurial mindset.  If qualified, email resume & current compensation level to: elisa.sheftic@rightexecutivesearch.com.****
