Position Responsibilities - Summary

As a member of the Firm Wide Infrastructure Program Management Team, this
individual will be responsible for leading large-scale, enterprise wide
technology projects from inception to delivery. This role requires
demonstrated results and leadership managing significant projects involving
cross-functional teams, and influencing within a matrixed organization using
both internal and consulting resources.

This unique role offers the individual an opportunity to exercise interests
in engineering, analysis, and delivery management in high value, high
profile projects which are mission critical to the Firm. The candidate will
need to demonstrate the ability to quickly assimilate technical concepts,
manage multiple competing priorities, as well as communicate and coordinate
effectively across all levels of the Firm.

Responsibilities:

* Own the business outcomes associated with large-scale technology
projects for the Department from end to end

* Work with Business and IT Stakeholders to qualify business needs
and outcomes, and develop plans and budgets which are managed throughout the
lifecycle.

* Work across teams with architects, engineers, and analysts to
collaboratively design, implementation and transition to support

* Quickly acclimate to new technical and functional challenges to
command control of the outcome and project teams

* Ensure adherence to established standards and processes while
proactively highlighting opportunities for improvement

* Advocate for the end user at all times by proactively managing
risk and impact to user experience

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Proven expertise in managing disparate, critical technology
projects/programs in a matrixed organization

* Proven planning, delivery, and analysis skills in a challenging
project environment

* Track-record of working with business stakeholders, engineers,
analysts, and infrastructure teams to complete and deliver projects

* Experience in core project managements skills including plan
development, risk and budget management, team building and leadership

* 7+ years of proven project/program management experience

* Proven ability to support multiple competing priorities
simultaneously

* Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal
supervision

* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

* Financial industry knowledge is a plus - Must come out of a
large, mission critical, 24x7 complex environment

Systems Analyst, Architect or Software Engineer and then became an IT
Project Manager.

3. This role is managing IT Infrastructure projects such as Information

Position Summary:

The QMC team is seeking a Lead QA engineer/QA architect to be an integral
member of the QA team responsible for agile process, leading the testing
efforts for the trading suite of applications.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute testing strategy based on the application
requirements, lead to the analysis, design, documentation and execution of
the test cases for the Equity suite of applications

* Analyzes new and emerging trends in quality assurance
architecture, evaluates alternatives, and completes feasibility studies

* Provides advice to senior management on quality assurance
advancements, and makes strategic methodology and development
recommendations

* Uses formal methodologies to forecast trends and define
innovative strategic choices for QA

* Drive testing automation, scripting and regression testing
projects utilizing offshore test automation engineers

* Provide guidance to the QA teams, and partner with the
centralized QA teams to align the practices with the strategic QA direction
of the enterprise.

* Partner with the business analyst and the development teams to
review and understand the business requirements and the technical
implementations.

* Ensure each release meets well-defined quality standards by
working closely with the development managers

* Partner with Project Managers on estimates, statuses and risks.
Report weekly status to the senior management and escalate issues.

* Stay current with QA best practices, methodologies and
technologies, and continue to improve the QA processes across the team.

Required Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate must have expertise in QA, excellent leadership and
communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple QA tracks.

Specific requirements include:

* Seven plus years' experience as a QA engineer and three plus
years' experience in leading a QA team on complex projects

* Expertise with all aspects of testing, including functional,
structural, regression, load and performance testing

* Expertise with QA tools such as Jira, QC, QTP and Load runner

* Experience working on high-volume transaction applications

* Knowledge of the equity trading operations desirable

* Ability to manage a team of offshore and onshore-based vendor QA
teams

* Knowledge of the Agile development and project management
processes

* Ability to diagnose and identify performance and stability issues
in large, complex applications

* Strong knowledge of Linux, Oracle database and SQL

* Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical application

* Bachelor's degree required

Keys to this Role

1. We are seeking a strong QA Lead/Architect that has experience creating
and implementing QA Processes. Process skills along with excellent
communication skills are required.

2. This is a hands-on role that is leading a team of up to 12 QA resources
(onshore/offshore model). Leadership skills are required.

3. SDLC: This individual should have solid skills with the Agile software
development methodology.

4. Technology: SQL is required. UI testing is a plus.

5. QA Tools: Jira and Quality Center are strongly desired (but not
required). QTP and LoadRunner are a plus.

6. Financial Services experience is a big plus. This individual will be part
of the Global Equity Trading team.
