[itroundtable] | TCN | Monday, March 23, 7-9pm: TCN/Temple Community Network Meeting

.
TCN's March 23rd meeting will proudly present outplacement and career transition expert Claudia Gentner, with a presentation entitled:

"WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM THOUSANDS OF JOB HUNTERS I'VE KNOWN"

Claudia will share some of the most important lessons she has learned from working with thousands of individuals in transition. If you are looking for a job, considering a career change or starting a new endeavor, her clients' experiences will help you set reasonable expectations, devise rational approaches, and change what you say and do. Claudia promises to make it fun and interactive.

Claudia Gentner's work in outplacement and career transition is grounded by 25 years in the field. She has consulted with hundreds of organizations that are changing: downsizing or moving, divesting or acquiring businesses, realigning or restructuring their workforces, adopting new technologies or shedding old ones. She has guided thousands of individuals in transition: people who have lost their jobs and are seeking re-employment, career change, or active retirement.

Claudia is the co-founder of Seagate Associates, one of the first independent career transition firms in New Jersey, known for innovation in the field. When Lee Hecht Harrison acquired Seagate, she became their Chief Information Officer. In that role, she conceived, launched and championed new services to improve the quality and effectiveness of career transition and outplacement; i.e., LHH@HOME, the virtual delivery of job search assistance for clients who prefer not to travel to an LHH office.

Throughout her career, Claudia has been powerfully devoted to helping people realize their potential by finding work that they love and do well. She is MBTI-certified and facilitates a Job Search Work Team in Glen Rock.
