Professional State Association with a membership of 2,500 members is searching for a meeting planner to manage all facets of meeting management.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience, excellence in negotiation skills, an ability to deal with people of all levels, preferred experience dealing with a volunteer-based committee environment, computer proficiency (Microsoft Office), and superb on-site operations experience.  The successful candidate will be shrewed at budget management and conference reconciliation.

 

The successful candidate will manage legal education meetings for the association which range from 15 - 2,300 attendees.  The candidate will also manage numerous executive committee and Board of Directors meetings.  The position will report directly to the Executive Director.
