The Delivery Assurance Group is responsible for providing daily support and
technical issue resolution of all shared network infrastructure that
support corporate and production business functions.. It includes
engineering and operational management of firewalls, load balancers, and
proxy servers including their specific management environments.
*Position Summary: *
We are looking for 4 contractors to work Thursdays through Mondays. These
resources would work with members of the Network Assurance Project Delivery
and Network Assurance Delivery Teams to deliver network services needed
over the weekend. Resources would reside in: 2 in Brooklyn (ADC), 1 in
Coppell (RDC) and 1 in New York (PDC). The 4 resources should cover
9:00am through midnight Eastern Time Zone on Saturdays and Sundays.
*Principal Responsibilities: *
Provides comprehensive network consultation to Network Assurance Delivery
teams at the highest technical level on all network delivery solutions.
Performs analysis, basic system design, documentation, testing
implementation and on-going support for extremely complex networks
including firewalls, load balancers, vpn and proxy servers. Provides highly
technical consulting in identifying and implementing network technologies,
which assist the Network Assurance Delivery teams in meeting their
strategies and objectives.
*Knowledge and Skills Required:*
•Requires excellent analytical ability for network traffic manipulation and
flows, strong judgment and probe analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge
of business unit's functions and applications, and broad knowledge of
telecommunication/LAN technologies including TCP/IP, AIX/UNIX/LINUX, and
Windows and extensive knowledge of network management tools. Knowledge of
network security tools. Must be able to lead a group of network engineers.
•IP networking skill-set including switching, routing, QoS, VoiP/IP
Telephony, network security and LAN/WAN technologies
•Proficiency in Cisco switches including Catalyst 3750s, 4500s & 6500s.
Nexus (4k, 5k, 7k, and 9k) required.
•Expertise in Cisco routers including 2800s/3800s, 2900s/3900s 7200s, and
ASR Routing technology
•In depth experience in Blue Coat proxy (SG, and Blue coat Director)
•In depth experience in Check Point firewall including: Provider-1, GAIA,
Virtual firewall and Identity Awareness
•vShield firewall on VMware and any other layer 2 firewall infrastructure
•Experience with Radware Load Balancer, Defensepro, AbSolute Vision
•Experience with F5 Firepass SSLVPN
•Experience with Checkpoint IPSecVPN
•Familiarity with ITIL controls, Change Management
•Management software including: HPNA, Firemon, Skybox, Splunk, Tuffin,
Backbox, Qradar, Cascade, CA eHealth, Netcool
•Proficient in analyzing snffier captures
•Microsoft office applications: Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Visio
•Experience with customer support
*Experience:*
•Eight years of solid, diverse work experience in networking and security
communications, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
•Working experience in large financial firm is a plus
*Education, Training &/or Certification:*
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/E.E or a related discipline with
an advanced degree preferred.
•Certifications preferred in Security and/or Networking.

• Ensure that short term changes to the plan support the agreed volume levels.
• Calculate optimistic and pessimistic projections to evaluate the risks associated with proposed plans.
• Track the performance against the demand plan
• Analyze the top-down forecast accuracy, determine reasons for inaccuracy.
• Monitor planned replenishment in comparison to demand/commitments in the supply engines..
• Monitor inbound flow of products from the various production site
• Responsible for Available to Sell / slow moving inventory analysis.
• Weekly download of forecast data snapshot.
• Run reports and export data into share point.
Qualifications:

Experience in consumer goods, both from a retail or production planning preferred.

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester who will develop test plans
and scripts, conduct manual and automated testing in support of all
products; document, review, track and report identified defects through
resolution, and provide knowledge transfer and collaborate with other
departments for production transition. The QA Tester will be responsible for
ensuring excellence in the quality and reliability of its products, and
utilizing a systematic testing approach designed to guarantee established
requirements through PDLC
