Engineer/Admin with OS Imaging experience (Windows or Linux/Unix) for a
right to hire assignment with one of our premier financial clients in
Jersey City, NJ.

*Required Skills: *

- Must have experience creating and deploying OS Images in an enterprise
environment
- 5+ years of experience delivering infrastructure products and services
(server, storage, and networking)
- Expertise with two or more server operating systems including Redhat
Linux, Microsoft Windows, IBM AIX, and VMware ESX
- Expert experience with server hardware, including Cisco, HP, Dell, and
IBM
- Expert understanding of layered tools including Tivoli, Symantec ESM,
NetSNMP, KeoN
- Expert experience within VMware Virtual Center, including new VM
creation, modification, and deletion
- Experience with blade-based server platforms and their design and
management tools, such as HP and Cisco UCS
- Expert understanding of standard layered tools including CFengine,
SCCM, Tivoli, SCOM, Symantec ESM, NetSNMP, KeON, etc
- Good working knowledge of workflow tools such as Oracle SOA and or
Remedy
- Experience with SAN and NAS data storage technologies including EMC,
Hitachi Data Systems, IBM XIV, NetApp, and F5 Acopia
- Good understanding of routing/switching concepts, IP assignment,
LAN/WAN/VLAN configurations, Cisco/Juniper products, and network inventory
management systems such as AIMS
- Experience with process engineering, ITIL/Six Sigma approaches,
workflow and change management in a complex environment
- Global infrastructure planning and delivery experience
- Bachelor degree in MIS preferred discipline and/or relevant experience
- Flexible, thoughtful, accountable, trustworthy, approachable and
passionate about work
- Technically proficient in server hardware/software, network and
storage technologies as stated above
- Excellent customer service support with a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to execute with discipline and urgency
