Product Manager

This Product Manager opportunity is a full-time time position for a small, fast-growing, highly successful financial services technology company based in New York City. This hands-on person will provide product leadership to deliver the company's next generation of products and services. This is a great opportunity to work on new product definition with a great development team.

Responsibilities

* Define the short- and long-term product roadmap for our flagship product and communicate your vision and its business case to stakeholders throughout the company.
* Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
* Understand and help drive the product business architecture.
* Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
* Be a prime advocate for the user experience, gathering and prioritizing opportunities for new features and product improvements from both users and company stakeholders.
* Champion your product roadmap by defining specific requirements/stories and working alongside UI/UX team to define/hone your vision, development and QA teams to architect and implement it, and cross-functional business teams such as marketing and sales to bring it to market.
* Be hands-on with delivery of documentation and willing to get deep in defining production functionality.
* Work hand-in-hand with the project management and development teams to continuously hone the development process.
* Serve as a key stakeholder in identifying and evaluating opportunities for new products.
* Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing/Sales) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
* Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
* Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
Our ideal candidate

* Has 7-10 years of product management experience, preferably working on B2B SaaS products.
* Related degree or equivalent related experience.
* Experience with data-related software or services and willing to dive into understanding the data of the product.
* Has a deep understanding of how to create exceptional user experiences for workflow-based and information-rich products.
* Has a solid working knowledge of the product management lifecycle, understands the tenets of good software development and has prior experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
* Is passionate about emerging web technologies and understands how the different layers of a tech stack work.
* Has experience working with cross-functional teams.
* Is proud of delivering a high quality result in everything he or she does - personally and professionally.
* Doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and trouble-shooting with the QA or development teams from time to time.
* Is extremely collaborative.
* Is self-motivated, intellectually curious and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* Can multi-task, prioritize, and take ownership of a project and bring it to successful completion.

Infrastructure Architect to join their team. You will be working closely
with the technology team, will leverage your experience to perform
advanced infrastructure design and deployment work in a service provider
enterprise computing environment. Core skills required are windows based
systems including but not limited to:

- Microsoft Windows operating systems (Strong Skills Required)
- Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-forest environment (Strong
Skills Required)
- Identity Management Systems, Forefront Identity Manager, NetIQ, etc.
- Skype for Business (Formerly Microsoft Lync)". and other IM systems
- MDMs – AirWatch (Preferred)
- Microsoft SQL Server

- 6+ years relevant systems analysis/support experience
- 5+ years experience installing, administering and supporting Microsoft
Windows operating systems
- 5+ years managing Microsoft Exchange/OCS/Lync 2007/2010/2013
- 5+ years experience implementing multi-forest Active directory

- 5+ years experience implementing GPOs, OU, resources, security
principals, replication, DNS/name space, group policy management, schema
