Position: IT Procurement Specialist
Location: Cambridge, MA
Duration of Assignment: 6 month contract position

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
* 3-5+ years of sourcing experience within the IT category with
strong background in category management process is required
* Demonstrated ability to individually lead contract drafting and
complete negotiation
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* History of influencing for results as an individual contributor
working in a matrix reporting environment
* Experience in use of procurement contract management, e-sourcing
and other tools
What you'll be doing:
* Support drafting and negotiation of contracts as required
* Participate in development and execution of RFI's and RFP's
aligned with local or global sourcing strategies
* Interact with stakeholders and other category team members to
execute projects on a timely basis and in line with category plans and
business needs
* Identify and communicate opportunities for innovation through
ongoing supplier interaction
* Ensure that supplier performance risks and issues are
appropriately escalated and/or resolved on a timely basis and with no
disruption to business goals
* Align all activities to ensure compliance with all legal
requirements, policies and procedures
* Help to drive sourcing best practice adoption and sharing
throughout the business
What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Position Type: Contract
Genuent is hiring a Project Manager for our direct client in the NYC area.
This is a contract position. Qualified candidates should send their resume
(Word Format) along with hourly pay requirements to Craig Penn at

He/she must be able to take an active leadership role in the team and create
an environment that fosters the prescribed agile methods and processes.
Finally the Project Manager must be able to identify issues proactively,
resolve conflicts, escalate if necessary, and work across the organization
to execute the project.
Responsibilities:
* Potential Assignments includes leading a Scrum team for an existing
mobile app, or creating an online responsive web presence for a new brand.
Key Qulifications:
* 5-7+ years Internet/Digital PM experience; media company a plus.
* Experience with highly polished consumer facing applications
strongly desired.
* Responsive Web / Mobile App experience strongly desired.
* Position requires experience and comfort level in both Scrum and
traditional methodologies
* Experience using an Agile project management software (we use Jira
with the Agile plugin), also familiarity with traditional project management
software such as Microsoft Project
Key Skills:
* Strong leadership and problem solving (both technical and
organizational) skills; needs to proactively and effectively drive decisions
and issue resolution
* Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with team members
(developers, designers, Product Owners)
* Effective communication with executive stakeholders and others
across a large media organization

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
