Knock Out Networking: How to Work the Room - Michael Goldberg - Boxing, like
networking is about the connection. More, stronger connections for your job
search mean greater success. Bottom line - networking is the most effective
way to generate more contacts, create more opportunities, and land the job!
Choose between the next two sessions:
Re-fueling Your Job Search - Brenda Grove - Fuel up to speed up your job
search. This pit stop will examine your passion, preparation, plan, people,
process and perspective. Gain the proven strategies to help you reach your
destination.
Job Seeker's Toolkit - Ford Myers - Ford will guide you through all of the
necessary tools to have in your toolkit. You will examine these specific
tools and how to create them, so you will be ready to move ahead
successfully with your job search process.
Networking over lunch with fellow participants and speakers
Question and Answer Session with our Panel of Experts - Michael, Brenda,
Ford, Matt and Amy
Choose between the next two sessions:
Top Ten Must Haves for LinkedIn - Matt Levy - Matt will share and show the
must haves for LinkedIn so that you can have a successful profile and
maximize your utilization of LinkedIn.
Networking Prep, Tools & Places - Lynne Williams - Lynne will share how to
prepare for networking with the important tools so that you can be
successful in your networking efforts.
Bring Your Best Self to Your Job Search and Your New Job - Amy Dinning - Amy
will guide us through feeling, looking, thinking, acting and being your best
as you go through job transition and into your new job.
Registration starts at 8:30 am and the workshop begins at 9 am. The formal
part of the workshop will end at 4 pm. Please bring your business
(networking) cards. Bring your lunch as there will be no place to purchase
one.
