Sr. Director, Risk Software Solutions -Product Sales. (Bank vertical) Investment Management Software Solutions firm. New York, NY. Requires:
10+ years of risk management software sales or pre-sales experience
with deep knowledge of product requirements of sell side institutions.
Must include extensive experience with banking clients. Role
is primarily partnering with bank and broker dealer sales team. This
person will be part of product sales for our client's risk management
solutions product suite. Our client is a global provider of technology solutions for broker-dealers, banks, mutual funds, and corporate issuers. Its Investment Management Solutions unit provides next-gen investment management, reference data, and risk solutions. The
Sr. Director of Risk Management Solutions sales works with bank &
broker dealer sales teams in pursuit of new revenues by providing
support and consulting with prospects and customers to understand their
business strategy and technology needs. The
director works with sales & product teams to respond with solutions
and deliverables meeting client needs and enhancing their operating
efficiency. The director is alert to technical gaps and opportunities
for cross selling. Responsibilities: - Maintain
a central database on target accounts, including pipeline
opportunities, contact management, leading & tracking campaigns for
new services. - Work closely with all units to ensure information flow on new sales opportunities. - Assist sales team in developing strategic sales plans around accounts. - Participate
in sales presentations, adding technology expertise, and build
relationships with prospects & clients, identifying tech needs and
how the firm can partner. - Maintain awareness of current & planned product development; recommend enhancements to product suite. - Attend
industry events to strengthen client relationships, remain current on
issues and competitive offerings, and promote company products and
services. Qualifications: - 10+
years of risk software sales, pre-sales or architecture exp. with
detailed knowledge of product requirements of sell side institutions.
Extensive exp with banking clients. - Able to serve dual consultative role as sales professional and customer advisor. - Excellent presentation skills; able to travel as needed. - Knowledgeable facilitator & liaison to product development & implementation teams.
