*1) **Job Description - Windows Administrator- up to $110K base*

Our client has a vacancy for a *Windows Administrator* to support the
administration and maintenance of the Windows LAN environments and users.
The Windows support staff is servicing over 700 users, 150 Window servers
and major City wide application projects. The team also provides 24x7 LAN
supports for such applications as SharePoint, Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Citrix,
Shavlik, EPO, VMware, and HP QC. With these numerous projects comes the
responsibility of managing and monitoring the infrastructure that resides
on them.

*Minimum Qualification Requirements *

1. A master's degree in computer science from an accredited college and
three years of progressively more responsible, full-time, satisfactory
experience using information technology in computer applications
programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data
telecommunications, database administration, planning of data/information
processing, user services, or area networks at least 18 months of this
experience must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive
capacity in the areas of computer applications programming, systems
programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, data
base administration, or planning of data processing or in the supervision
of staff performing these duties; or

2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of
experience as described in "1" above; or

base *

Our client is seeking a seasoned *Windows Support Services Manager* with
extensive experience in the management of multiple Windows servers in a
multi-tiered environment, to support New York City's Automated Personnel
System (NYCAPS), Financial Management System (FMS), Payroll Management
System (PMS), Pension Payroll System (PPMS) and Timekeeping System
(CityTime). The Network/Windows Manager will work with the cross system
application and integration teams on tactical and strategic projects in
addition to handling the agencies LAN and numerous Enterprise applications
which reside on a Web platform attached to a Cisco infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day operations including issue resolution, resource
utilization and task schedule management.

• Providing leadership to the Windows team to best meet the commitments and
the project target dates.
• Supporting backup, recovery, performance and tuning problem determination
and resolution.
• Oversee staff scheduling, projects, and performance.

• Establish and enforce best practices for Windows Server management,
configuration changes, monitoring, patch management and security.

Job Description:

Ø Coordinate with end user for installation/move and change once the
required hardware is delivered

Ø Install required Image, drivers and standard software packages as agreed

Ø After all required SW are installed connect the LT/DT to the Client
Network and make it ready for use

Ø Backing up end user data and restore back if required

Ø Correct settings and configure hardware, provide support for printer
connectivity, work with OEM for warranty/contracted Hardware.

Ø Provide required basic troubleshooting support to ensure connectivity to
all the Desk Side and Network printers/MFD/FAX

Ø Basic troubleshooting only to identify the defective component in the
device and inform client service desk to coordinate with OEM for warranty
replacement and same for equipment's which are not under warranty

Ø Provide backup/loaner unit based on availability at client site for
reducing the downtime if the defective replacement not available for

Ø Support / guide end user for taking required backup of data if required
before any replacement of hard disk is done

Ø Provide VIP support as per the required time lines

Ø Software and Hardware Updates and Upgrades (to be scheduled only after
support has been addressed and only when work will not negatively impact
SLAs

Ø DO the required wiping of all data as agreed for those devices which are
