Overview
Our client is seeking an ETL Developer who will work with business and
technical teams to design, develop and maintain ETL processes to support
business needs.
This full-time employee position is located in Milford, CT
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Understanding of source and target data structures, ETL processes
and products to develop Data Integrations to support data sharing between
internal and external applications.
* Work with Internal Application Development Teams to support, design
and deploy changes to Production.
* Address Data Issues and ensure Data Quality across the enterprise
systems.
* Provide afterhours support for Production critical ETL processes
(on-call routine).
* Create and maintain ETL process documentation.
* Collaborate with DBA's as needed to enhance system performance.
* Follow established processes for Change/Project Workflow Management.
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work
experience.
* 1 - 3 years of related experience.
* In depth knowledge of relational and dimensional database
skills.
* Strong understanding of data warehouse design
methodologies.
* Expert understanding of MS SQL Server development tools
(SQL/SSIS)
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Familiarity with Teradata database and tools a plus.
* Experience working in an Agile environment a plus.
* Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
oriented project.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
