EXECUTIVE HR ASSISTANT
Reports to: Managing Director and Head of Human Resources, Global Banking

Description:
Exciting opportunity assisting the Head of Human Resources for Citi's Global Banking ("GB") Division. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and interact with people at all levels throughout Citi.

Responsibilities include:
· Screening telephone calls
· Managing a complex calendar for the Head of HR
· Making travel arrangements
· Scheduling meetings for the team

Additional responsibilities during the various year-end processes will include:
· Assisting the team's Compensation Analyst with the preparation of reports and other materials for
review by GB Management
· Assisting the Generalist team with the preparation of materials and analysis for use during the GB year end
(including the promotion processes, performance reviews, and compensation)

In addition to typical administrative duties, you will:
· Gain exposure to all facets of the Human Resources function: Employee Relations, Recruiting,
Compensation, Training and Development
· Coordinate conference and event planning for Generalist team and various Global Banking functions
(e.g., employee activities, team outings)
· Answering general questions from employees regarding various HR programs
· Oversee expense processing for the team
· Handle special projects as assigned by the Head of Human Resources


At least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably assisting a senior executive. Strong administrative skills with a proven track record. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment and provide support to a team. Strong sense of urgency; ability to proactively identify problems and offer solutions, and work independently to execute on requests. Ability to use good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.

Strong sense of tact and diplomacy; strong interpersonal skills; professional and corporate demeanor; ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to use these skills creatively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Strong analytical skills; candidate needs to be comfortable with numbers and analysis.

Strong work ethic and enthusiastic team player. Customer service orientation.

Location: 388 Greenwich St .
Hours: 8 am to 6 pm; must be flexible for overtime as required.

Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager and dotted line to Director of HR- Off site Corporate location, this position will be responsible for providing the Human Resource function with vision, direction and leadership for this Business Unit.
