Scope of Work:
Proofreader/Editorial Project Manager
Major financial services company seeks a proofreader/editorial project manager to ensure that all web and print deliverables meet house style, branding, and legal requirements. Candidate must pay exquisite attention to detail, ensure that all materials meet precise language and quality standards, and perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with bringing documentation into compliance.

Responsibilities:

Proofread and edit marketing, educational, and product materials
Field queries with subject matter experts and content owners
Review requests to update materials posted on websites
Manage a compliance review process
Review and manage materials through the production cycle
Manage the expiration and removal of old content
Submit materials to the compliance department for review
Support a variety of internal initiatives and projects with proofreading, editing, and administrative tasks

Requirements:

3 - 5 years' experience proofreading; copy editing skills a plus
Experience with financial services a plus
Ability to juggle multiple projects at different stages of completion
Familiar with digital publishing workflow
Familiar with Vignette or another content management system
Ability to edit to house style
Highly attentive to detail
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software

All candidates will be required to take a proofreading test.

Location: New Haven, CT
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $60-70/hr. C2C or $50-60/hr. W-2
 
Our client is seeking a Technical Lead who will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of a research compliance tracking system project. The individual will work closely with project manager on project plan and deliverables, project functional and technical team members to coordinate and drive the development, testing and delivery of the project, and manage technical vendors from aspects of both project and support. Review and provide input on technical/deliverable aspects of vendor contracts, particularly statements of work.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
•      Technical Background and a foundation/experience in Project management methodology
•      Knowledge of and experience in industry standard SDLC processes (waterfall, agile, etc.)
•      10 years experience leading technology implementation projects
•      5 years experience in leading vendor implementations and support engagement
•      3 to 5 years experience working in .NET environment
•      Ability to liaise and influence in a matrix environment
•      Proven ability to lead and drive IT project implementations to conclusion
•      Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•      Leadership skills/positive attitude
•      Problem resolution skills to successfully resolve vendor issues

Job Description - A broker dealer located in Jersey City is looking for a
Option Compliance Officer who has market maker experience with Institutional
clients.

Responsibilities - Surveillance over market maker activity with Institutional Clients.

Experience - Ideal candidates will come from FINRA or CBOE because they know the
regulatory side of the Market Maker business with Institutional Clients. They will
also consider candidates who work in the Option Surveillance Unit at a broker dealer
that conducts an option market maker business.

Salary Range - The position will pay between 100k to 125k plus bonus based on experience.
