FTE PERM position for midtown  client ..IMS DB2 DBA to support HR/PAYROLL systems
Salary Range $110-120K DOE
 
The primary responsibilities will be to perform normal DBA support activities for our IMS and DB2 database environments running in production and test. This will include running database Backups, Recovery, Reorgs, Runstats, Unloads, Load, database monitoring/tuning, SQL tuning, supporting production migrations, and administering database security. Individual will also work closely with development teams to create and maintain our database environments and perform database refreshes to support application testing.
 
Preferred Skills:
10+ years of DBA experience on IMS databases. 7+ years of DBA experience on DB2 databases on OS/390-Z/0S Mainframe. Strong background in IMS backup/recovery including DBRC and Batch/Dynamic back out. Strong background in DB2 backup/recovery.  Experience with IMS utilities. HDAM and HIDAM databases.  Experience with IBM/DB2 utilities and DB2 Connect. Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, Cobol and Z/OS utilities.

Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of brand strategy, marketing mix and operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for a brand or set of brands in the short and long term.
 
Identifies market insights using market research, competitive intelligence, and understanding of disease areas.
Identifies trends, opportunities and threats for brand(s) and proposes corresponding measures.
Manages the writing of the brand plan, product positioning, and marketing plans.
Shapes the commercial criteria using go/no go decisions.
Makes trade-off decisions and recommends priority activities and investment  based on commercial value.
Ensures clinical/brand optimization study (BOS) plan reflects critical factors for market access.
Provides strategic direction to clinical trials and risk management plans.
Identifies a comprehensive product package that meets all customer needs.
Provides input to the business case for life cycle management options.

Skills

The schedule for the dinner meeting on March 27th will be:
            -          6:00 pm â€" Registration, cash bar, and “speed dating”
            -          6:45 to 7:00 -- Individual introductions with RSVP list reference â€" see below
-          7:00 pm -- Dinner
-          8:00 pm â€" Eli Amdur’s presentation with appropriate Q & A
-      9:30 pm Approx  -  Raffle 2 signed copies of Eli’s book.  You must be there to win!
 
 
Following our usual meeting format, after you have registered and added your resume, etc. to the handout piles, everyone will participate in a series of informal networking groups i.e. “speed dating”, before we sit down for dinner and the general introductions.  Briefly, these informal groups last for approximately 10 minutes.  At the end of the 10 minutes, the groups disperse, and new ones are formed with different participants.  Suggested dialogues for the groupings will be provided at the registration desk.
 There will be an opportunity to circulate up to 50 copies of your resume, personal bio, leads, or other appropriate material in a handout from the dinner.
The cost will be $30 for everyone if forwarded by mail or other to John Sampson by COB on March 16th at 2 Blackfoot Cir, Wayne NJ 07470.  Checks should be made out to John. The preliminary RSVP will be distributed to the recipients of the initial mailing of this announcement and to all those on the list the week end before the dinner meeting for editing and informational purposes.  A “final” numbered RSVP list will be available at the registration desk on the 27th and can be used as part of your general introduction …”I’m # x on the RSVP list”. Your number will also appear on your name badge which will be available at the registration desk on the 27th.
The cost for the event will be $45 after COB on Friday March 16th and before the COB on Monday March 26th. Since there will be walk-ins on the 27th, the final RSVP list will be emailed to the attendees as quickly as possible after March 27th.
We will accept a LIMITED number of walk-ins on March 27th.  Their cost will be $60 without exception as well as for RSVP’s whose checks have not been received by COB on March 26th. There will be NO refunds and no shows WILL be billed.
Again, attendees should bring 50 copies of their bio/resume, leads or materials they wish to be included in the handout for the evening of March 27th.
