Project Manager/Business Analyst Job Description

The hybrid project manager/business analyst position will need to be responsible for the following:
• Gathering and documenting functional requirements
• Basic user interface design
• Some application testing
• Production support

• Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies.
• Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs.

• Experience with Microsoft technologies on the middle tier with COBOL/DB2 on the back end.

Responsibilities:

* Perform the Business Analysis for research distribution platforms such as Feeds, Email, and Web Distribution applications which provide the Research Reports and Data Analytics written by the Equity, Fixed Income, and Macro Analysts
* Engage with the Business Sponsors, Technology Development Team, QA, and UAT Teams
* Develop thorough understanding of Global Research systems from a functional and non-functional perspective in order to conduct the business analysis and coordinate integration with the upstream/downstream applications.
* Run the Stakeholder and Weekly status meetings and manage and highlight the project risk.
* Translate business needs into technical solutions and prepare formal business requirements documentation and UI Designs/Screens.

Required Skills:

Job entails partnering with developers, service managers, DBA and other shared services personnel for infrastructure delivery and alignment.
