Because of the predictions of severe weather and expectations of serious
damage and disruption, we have cancelled Tuesday's Jobseeker special on The
Workplace's program for long term unemployed. This is an important topic,
and we want everyone who is interested to be able to come. We will
reschedule, but I don't know the date yet.

Our NYC based luxury client is looking for a long term Retail Operations Coordinator that will be an ongoing assignment for 2-3 months during the busy season. Candidates need to have great communication skills as they will be working not only with outside vendors but the logistics team as well. They will be coordinating between stores, finance and logistics on the status of damaged goods/repairs. Candidates will need to be computer savvy as running reports will be a necessity in this role. Our NYC based high end beauty company is looking for a long term freelance E-comm Customer Service Representative to help out with the holiday rush starting ASAP. Candidates need to have 2-3 years experience dealing with high volume phone and e-comm troubleshooting with consumers. Candidates need to be polished with excellent communication skills. Experience in cosmetics a huge plus. They need a good person quickly and want to interview Friday 10/26 with a decision made by next week. Our global fashion client based in Long Island is looking for a Customer Service Representative. They are gearing up for a busy holiday season and need extra hands within the department. This role reports directly to the lead Customer Service Manager and must have direct consumer experience. Responsibilities include responding to calls and emails directly from the website/800 phone line on product inquiries, complaints and web order questions. Footworks experience is a plus. We are expecting this to be a long term temp assignment going at least until January. We are expecting salary to fall between $35-40K+ or start at a$15-20/hr rate.
